I have over 15 years professional experience, extensive behavioral training and skills, and am fully insured and certified in Pet First Aid/CPR from the American Red Cross. For me, my work is my passion. I love what I do and put my heart and soul into it. I've been told by my clients that I "am the most dependable person they know", "how much their pets adore me", and that they consider me part of their family. .

I have had dogs all my life the 22 years I grew up in The Netherlands. When I moved to San Francisco I felt that this was my calling; working as a professional with and for dogs! I have a psychology degree from The Netherlands, and finished the dog walking course before starting my own business. After that I wanted to learn more about dog psychology and training, so I took an intense course at a training academy. Every day I love my job more. The dogs are so happy and their gratitude makes every day a great day. My main goal is having as much fun with my pack as we can so that they can return home well satisfied from great exercise!

Hi there! Happy Scamper was started in 2013 with one goal in mind-- providing the highest quality care for pups and their humans. We have thousands of playgroup walks under our belts learning the in's and out's of dog behavior, safe handling, positive reinforcement training, dog park etiquette, and adorable picture taking! Our pups enjoy off leash walks in a beautiful private fenced acreage lot with occasional visits to Funston! As of 2019 my wife Vanessa officially joined Happy Scamper making us a family run business with 16 years combined experience. SF Adventure Pet provides intimate group walks M-F serving Marina, Cow Hollow and Pacific Heights neighborhoods. Boarding is offered daily for walking clients only. These dogs become 'at home' with me and one another, as we all enjoy being out together. We walk in GGNRA locations frequenting Crissy Fields, Mountain Lake and Presidio trails, making occasional field trips to Fort Funston or Baker's Beach. This style of walking requires that your pup is able to keep with the group regarding recall and pace. I'll always do my best ensure your pup is safe, happy, and successful with us. I hold a Bachelors in Community Health Science from UNR and studied with Dog Training Internship Academy.
