Ariel has been working with animals since she was a child, and has been professionally training dogs for 5 years. She joined the Pet Professional Guild (PPG) in 2017. She is one of the less than 10 trainers in the US to earn the prestigious title of Professional Canine Trainer (PCT-A) from the Pet Professional Accreditation Board. Service dog training is what she is truly passionate about, but she also offers basic training, trick training, and therapy dog training! Ariel has also served in the military (USAF) and volunteered with local fire and EMS departments. She now has her Golden Retriever, Padme, working as a service dog to assist her day to day.

Helping SF families and professionals enjoy, care for, and understand their dogs since 1999! I have a sensitive spot for leash reactive dogs and have devoted extra studies and practice towards this area of dog training, but can help all dogs and all people with most issues and of course the basics! All of our training is force-free and fear-free and training programs are customized to the needs of each individual pet and their people. Rover Rehab specializes in working with fearful, shy, and anxious dogs as well as multi-pet households, including homes with cats.

Great Companions offers force-free, positive reinforcement training, mostly using the clicker, to help people and their dogs develop great communication skills and trust. In addition to private lessons, Great Companions offers classes in Puppy Manners, Foundations, Advanced Manners, Canine Good Citizen, Rally, Agility, Scent Work, Reactive Dog Class, Tricks, Treiball, Confidence Building, Parkour, and other specialty classes. Class size is small to maximize individual attention.

We recently moved from VT back to SF (was using the DBA Ruff Riders K9 Adventures in SF from 2002-2021). We offer private training, day training, solo walks and sub group dog walking, group training classes.
