I started Rad Rover because I want to help those who want to do better for their dogs who wouldn't otherwise have access to this kind of support. Compassion for people wanting to do better for their dogs is just as important as compassion for our animals. Using trauma informed care strategies that I previously learned and used while working in nonprofit housing, I aim to help educate and build relationships with people about their dogs needs. Unlike a lot of local walkers, we are breed inclusive and understand that people are products of their situations and context. I am located in Mill Valley and service Mill Valley and Sausalito for my pack walks. The pack walks 1 hour off-leash walks and adventures in parks and beaches nearby. I also offer pet-sitting and boarding Fridays after 12:30 until Sunday night if you live outside of Marin. I started Salty Paws SF in 2023 after working for another dog walking business for about a year and a half. I also walked for another company called Luck Dog from 2007-2009.

In home pet/house sitting Cat sitting services Occasionally an opening for tiny dogs. I only walk 3 small dogs max at a time, so my dog walking services are rare. Feel free to inquire if there is an opening at this time.

I have had dogs all my life the 22 years I grew up in The Netherlands. When I moved to San Francisco I felt that this was my calling; working as a professional with and for dogs! I have a psychology degree from The Netherlands, and finished the dog walking course before starting my own business. After that I wanted to learn more about dog psychology and training, so I took an intense course at a training academy. Every day I love my job more. The dogs are so happy and their gratitude makes every day a great day. My main goal is having as much fun with my pack as we can so that they can return home well satisfied from great exercise!
