I started Rad Rover because I want to help those who want to do better for their dogs who wouldn't otherwise have access to this kind of support. Compassion for people wanting to do better for their dogs is just as important as compassion for our animals. Using trauma informed care strategies that I previously learned and used while working in nonprofit housing, I aim to help educate and build relationships with people about their dogs needs. Unlike a lot of local walkers, we are breed inclusive and understand that people are products of their situations and context. Action Dog! specializes in off-leash Adventure Hikes around the East Bay Regional Parks and is committed to offering a reliable, dependable, and affordable dog walking service to people who want their dogs to enjoy life as much as possible. Our hikes are fun, we encourage dogs to be themselves and sniff, play and explore safely. We positively reinforce good behavior, and provide dogs an outlet for healthy socialization as well as daily practice of basic commands and trail etiquette. Truth is I love dogs! Big, small, furry, bald, stinky or clean I love them all. I will cherish each as my own. I am just staring out and would love to start by walking them, then possible dog sitting in my home. I have owned a bulldog, and cocker spaniel in my life so far. I am pet free at the current time.
