We have thousands of playgroup walks under our belts learning the in's and out's of dog behavior, safe handling, positive reinforcement training, dog park etiquette, and adorable picture taking! Our pups enjoy off leash walks in a beautiful private fenced acreage lot with occasional visits to Funston! As of 2019 my wife Vanessa officially joined Happy Scamper making us a family run business with 16 years combined experience. What started as a call to action and doing right by the furry friends in my life, this business was birthed from the trust and encouragement of my friends who had dogs and needed support. Fourteen years later, my team and I are ever grateful to have supported hundreds of pet owners, and made some life long friendships along the way. From Daycare support seven days a week, and Boarding overnight three hundred and sixty five a year, my passionate team is ready to support with your requested needs. I started working in the pet care industry after I took in my grandfather's dog, Roxie. I worked in a small local pet shop, Sunset Pet Supply from 2014 - 2016. I learned all about animal nutrition and wellness. Then I moved into a dog walking position 2017 - 2018. I loved the dog walking so much, I decided to move on and start my own business. I wanted to be able to do more work to help the dogs and their pawrents!

We offer Dogwalking, Boarding, Doggy Daycare, Cat Care, Housesitting, Pet Transport and petsitting. We also assist with bringing your dog to your wedding for photos. We’re experienced and insured. We also have a small friendly dog of our own. We have excellent references.

I’m an animal lover with hands-on experience raising puppies and walking both small and large dogs. I understand the different needs and energy levels of each dog and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness during every walk. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether it’s a high-energy pup or a senior dog, I’m confident in handling all kinds of dogs with care and responsibility.

I am a SF SPCA certified private trainer. After 11 years of working at the SF SPCA I branched out full time on my own. I offer basic training, leash reactivity training, and have a lot of experience with puppies. I also provide pet sitting in your home as well as training while I stay with your dog or puppy.
