Hi! I’ve been working in the petcare industry since 2017 and started Furry Best Friend SF in January of 2024. I reside in the Richmond district and service all over San Francisco for dog walks, pet drop ins, and pet sitting. I do offer pet sitting in north and east Bay for extended prices. Weekends Only. I can help with one-on-one Dog Walks in San Francisco and Pet Sitting in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am also happy to work as a dog handler/au pair at a special event. I’ve been working with dogs as a hobby for over 20 years. I grew up training my first dog in both obedience and agility, and I currently have three rescue dogs of my own. I love dogs, cats, and critters of all kinds! Wondering about the name? Gambit was one of my former dogs who has since crossed the rainbow bridge. Whenever she was being naughty, I would jokingly say “dog Gambit!” to her.

What started as a call to action and doing right by the furry friends in my life, this business was birthed from the trust and encouragement of my friends who had dogs and needed support. Fourteen years later, my team and I are ever grateful to have supported hundreds of pet owners, and made some life long friendships along the way. From Daycare support seven days a week, and Boarding overnight three hundred and sixty five a year, my passionate team is ready to support with your requested needs. If we're not the right person, we can certainly recommend someone who just might be.

I have taken care of dogs, cats, fish, birds, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and reptiles. To say I love all animals is an understatement. I also do regular house sitting offering plant care as well as babysitting for all ages. Willing to travel with you for your pet or child sitting needs. I pet sit full time so I'm available for all your pets' needs. With prior consent, I'm happy to take your dog to a park of your choice. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

Leo has worked professionally with dogs for over 20 years, primarily in shelters where pups are understandably stressed and in need of targeted behavioral support. They are an Academy for Dog Trainers honors graduate (CTC) and a CPDT-KA. They offer VIP boarding in their purpose-built home environment for dogs who struggle to fit into traditional pet-sitting and kenneling environments, as well as board and train programs for puppies, teens and adult dogs to help them and their people build foundations that will benefit them in various facets of their lives. I started Rad Rover because I want to help those who want to do better for their dogs who wouldn't otherwise have access to this kind of support. Compassion for people wanting to do better for their dogs is just as important as compassion for our animals. Using trauma informed care strategies that I previously learned and used while working in nonprofit housing, I aim to help educate and build relationships with people about their dogs needs. Unlike a lot of local walkers, we are breed inclusive and understand that people are products of their situations and context.
