Port City Dog Training provides private, in-home dog training for puppies and adult dogs throughout Muskegon and West Michigan. Founded by Stephen Dube, a CPDT-KA Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Fear Free Certified Professional, and AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, we specialize in positive reinforcement methods that build lasting behavior and stronger relationships. Whether you're raising a new puppy, improving everyday manners, or working through behavior challenges like leash pulling, jumping, reactivity, or fear, every training plan is tailored to your dog's unique needs and your family's lifestyle.

I have been working with dogs since 2016. In 2017 I started a dog walking and pet sitting business and my passion to help families with their fearful and aggressive dogs grew. In 2018 I attended Karen Pryor Academy for Professional Behavior and Training graduating with distinction. My personal dogs have had training challenges that allows me to be empathetic and help personalize my training plans for my clients. I continue to study, take classes, and collaborate with fellow trainers to make sure my clients get specialized training plans to suit their unique needs.

I am Paul Inman, CTBC, a certified behavior consultant and trainer. I specialize in helping you raise your puppy or kitten in the urban & suburban environment and meeting your individual companion’s unique needs. I offer 1-hour behavioral consultations on any topic to help you understand your pet’s behavior and needs at any stage of life. I work remotely and offer online training plans on a monthly subscription basis. You are in control of the process and my coaching will help you formulate and reach your goals!

We can work together from anywhere around the world as long as you have internet and my games based approach makes training fun.

I have a lifetime of a wide variety of work experiences from shelter work, pet store work, working as a vet assistant for quite some time, finally attending several dog training schools and then going further for national and international certification.
