I truly enjoy solving companion dog behaviors and teaching people how to do so. I love and understand dogs on a deep level - how they learn and think, what makes them happy and attentive and what causes them to act out. Whether your dog pulls on leash, chews up the furniture, barks at other dogs or is fearful of things, I can help. My training techniques are designed to be fun, build confidence (for you and your dog), and change behaviors quickly and effectively. My name is Juliana and Pawsome Pupstars Dog Training is my private business. I was a dog walker before becoming a dog trainer. I am CPDT-KA and Fear Free certified. I am located in Brooklyn, NY. I offer a combination of virtual and in-person dog training services depending on the needs of the dogs and their guardians.

I am a KPA CTP (Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner) and CCUI (Certified Control Unleashed Instructor). My training is centered on learner empowerment and consent. I train by playing games and creating patterns to give the dog a sense of predictability and to create a strong reinforcement history for handler interaction.
