Top Dog SF is a local dog walking and reward-based training company established in 2004. We offer three main services: Puppy Head Start Program, Small Dog PlayCare, and Daily Off-leash Adventure Outings to our private dog ranch in Montara. Our headquarters for puppy school, small dog play, and socials is at the Parkside at 2121 Taraval St. Top Dog SF also offers an online Dog Walker Certification Program focusing on positive reinforcement methods.

Specializing in Puppies and Adolescent Dogs, I offer guidance and specific techniques for all your companion's needs - from basic training to life skills practice. I am a Positive Reinforcement Trainer, Certified through the Council for Professional Dog Trainers.

I have loved animals all my life and feel a connection to dogs in particular. I have been training dogs professionally for 25 years and have been active in the rescue/shelter world for 30 years. I teach owners how to work with their dogs in a positive, fear-free environment and enhance the bond they have with their dog through consistent feedback and reinforcement. I work with dogs of all ages and breeds and have extensive knowledge with dogs that have behavioral concerns. On the flip side, I become the student when I attend workshops and seminars to learn new training methods. The field of animal behavior continues to evolve as well as our understanding of how animals learn.

My goal is for you and your pup to have fun during the training process. Even though training is a commitment that takes effort and time, and sometimes we are working to address difficult challenges with our pups, I hope you look forward to our sessions. By educating you and applying positive reinforcement in working with you and your dog, I seek to foster lifelong trust, improved communication between you and your dog, and joy in your relationship together. I'm a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, and in the process of working towards my Control Unleashed Certification. I love continuing my education so I can be a better trainer for my clients and for my own dog!

Services include: one-on-one dog walking and hikes, in-home or hotel pet sitting, overnight pet sitting, curated pet adventures, and wedding pet attendant services.

I started dogsitting over 20 years ago and became a professional dogwalker when I moved to San Francisco in 2013. I opened Skalliwags Pet Care in 2015 and it's been pure joy getting paid for what I love to do! I do 2 group walks/beach hikes a day that our minimum 60 min each. Dogs 'N Action is located in west Texas. Teresa Tuttle, owner, has been working with dogs over 25 years. In 2014 we finally made a full time gig. We are reward based and fear free. Our goal is to help humans and their dogs live harmoniously and happily. We offer group classes and in-home private lessons in the Midland/Odessa area.
