Hi! I'm Aimee, the dog trainer and owner/operator behind It's a Dog's World SF Dog Training. I started as a group dog walking business in 2007. In 2009, I became a certified dog trainer after graduating with honors from The Academy for Dog Trainers at the SF SPCA, taught by the world-renowned Jean Donaldson. Since then, I have been working and helping dogs and their humans for thousands and thousands and thousands of hours. Having trained in San Francisco for so long also means that I know and understand this market. HFDT offers force-free, reward-based dog training from puppy I to adult reactive "aggressive" dogs. I work with ALL ages, sizes and breeds and tailor classes to promote demonstrable learning, real life skills and a happy dog.

I trained for 4 years at SmartyPup! in San Francisco and now work solely through online coaching*. This is a GREAT way to learn and teach your dog. There are many benefits to online dog training, including fewer distractions early in training, no commute, come in your pajamas, and plenty more! *As much as I would love to, I'm unable to offer in-person training at this time.
