Hello, I'm Aline from Brazil! I love animals and dogs are my passion. Four years ago I saved a dog that was abandoned on the highway. He was an old golden retriever and he was very sick. He lived with me for almost two years under medical treatment but unfortunately He passed away. I believe Dingo came to my life to teach me what real love is about, and also to make my love for animals grow stronger. I miss taking him for walks 3 or 4 times a day in the quiet neighborhood where I lived in São Paulo. I believe walking dogs is a job that can fulfill me with joy and passion. I'm here to make your dog as happy as I made Dingo!

I strive to accomplish this and it is fun doing so. I am extremely vigilant about your dogs safety and am constantly striving towards educating myself on the best force free training methods in order to establish a loving relationship between myself and your canine companion. I train through gaining trust and build strong relationships with the dogs this way. I am not afraid to use treats and love. These are my tools. What started as a call to action and doing right by the furry friends in my life, this business was birthed from the trust and encouragement of my friends who had dogs and needed support. Fourteen years later, my team and I are ever grateful to have supported hundreds of pet owners, and made some life long friendships along the way. In 2011, Walkin’ the Dog SF opened for business in San Francisco to provide private walks on leash in clients’ neighborhoods. After many years of tackling hills, my knees have convinced me to change the focus of my business to assist clients who have dogs with separation anxiety. I am available to stay with dogs in their homes when their family members need to go to work, go to medical appointments, and/or take care of everyday responsibilities away from home. I pet sit for some clients on a fixed schedule, but I also have flexible hours.

Our focus is one on one care for dogs (and cats) that may struggle with traditional care settings and group care environments. Whether a dog is shy, fearful, reactive, anxious, aggressive, or perhaps just intact or a senior that has become selective; many dogs find group daycares, group walks, and traditional boarding environments stressful, or aren't able to go - so we are here to help! Dogs love me, and I love them. I've had dogs my whole life. Whether it's for a walk or an extended stay, I will treat your dog as though they're my own. We take long walks and go to the park daily. At home, they can use the fenced yard while supervised, but typically they're too tired and just want to relax and sleep. There are dog beds, bowls, toys, and a small crate. To develop strong bonds with the dogs, form cohesive packs, and ensure they get plenty of exercise, we do not use a car. We explore San Francisco on foot as we visit the local off leash dog parks.
