I've been training for 8 years and I have extensive experience in the daycare and boarding environment, training and caring for hundreds of dogs over 6 years. I'm passionate about helping all dogs and their pet parents, especially with fear and anxiety issues, as well as teaching dogs to relax and be calm while building their confidence, which is an integral part of my training curriculum. It was the love of my life, Jane, my Jack Russell Terrier of almost 18 years, who inspired me to pursue a career in dog training and is the dog behind the name, See Jane Dog Behavior and Training.

I started dogsitting over 20 years ago and became a professional dogwalker when I moved to San Francisco in 2013. I opened Skalliwags Pet Care in 2015 and it's been pure joy getting paid for what I love to do! I do 2 group walks/beach hikes a day that our minimum 60 min each. I have loved animals all my life and feel a connection to dogs in particular. I have been training dogs professionally for 25 years and have been active in the rescue/shelter world for 30 years. I teach owners how to work with their dogs in a positive, fear-free environment and enhance the bond they have with their dog through consistent feedback and reinforcement. I work with dogs of all ages and breeds and have extensive knowledge with dogs that have behavioral concerns. On the flip side, I become the student when I attend workshops and seminars to learn new training methods. Hello! I'm a registered veterinary technician with a passion for medicine and would love to help watch your fur baby. As much as I love all dog breeds, I am only able to overnight sit small dog breeds at my home. I also offer drop-in visits for kitties at their own homes (once a day or twice a day visits). I am available for weekly dog walking on Mondays and Thursdays ( 1 or 2 drop ins per day) I am comfortable administering most forms of medication as well as SQ fluids or daily injections at home & other basic vet care. I live in the Lower Pac heights, SF and would like to stay local to SF. I would love to get to know you and your babies, let’s chat if you would like to use my services.
