Hi there! Happy Scamper was started in 2013 with one goal in mind-- providing the highest quality care for pups and their humans. We have thousands of playgroup walks under our belts learning the in's and out's of dog behavior, safe handling, positive reinforcement training, dog park etiquette, and adorable picture taking! Our pups enjoy off leash walks in a beautiful private fenced acreage lot with occasional visits to Funston! As of 2019 my wife Vanessa officially joined Happy Scamper making us a family run business with 16 years combined experience. Ren is a professional dog trainer and behavior consultant, specializing in dog reactivity, fearful dogs, puppies, and separation anxiety. She is a Certified Behavior Consultant Canine Knowledge Assessed (CBCC-KA), a Certified Fear Free Professional., and a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). We have fostered over 150 dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds, offering behavior modification for rescue dogs that need help in order to become adoptable. Lifelong dog lovers, we've been boarding dogs in our home since 2004. References available upon request.
