My goal is for you and your pup to have fun during the training process. Even though training is a commitment that takes effort and time, and sometimes we are working to address difficult challenges with our pups, I hope you look forward to our sessions. By educating you and applying positive reinforcement in working with you and your dog, I seek to foster lifelong trust, improved communication between you and your dog, and joy in your relationship together. I'm a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, and in the process of working towards my Control Unleashed Certification. I love continuing my education so I can be a better trainer for my clients and for my own dog!

Bernal Beast has been a mainstay in Bernal Heights for over 30 years, offering natural, organic, raw pet foods to the neighborhood and beyond. Since 2020, we’ve run positive reinforcement training classes for your newly-adopted puppies and dogs. All of our trainers are graduates of the acclaimed Academy for Dog Trainers, a rigorous academic program that educates trainers in evidence-based dog behavior, training, and private behavior counseling. We offer a variety of options for your puppy or dog including puppy socials overseen by certified trainers, puppy kindergarten, basic & intermediate manners classes, workshops, and private one-on-one training sessions in and outside the shop.

Helping pet guardians overcome their dog’s behavior challenges with personalized training and behavior consulting. I offer in-home training, private day training, training walks, and pet sitting for challenging dogs. Ariel has been working with animals since she was a child, and has been professionally training dogs for 5 years. She joined the Pet Professional Guild (PPG) in 2017. She is one of the less than 10 trainers in the US to earn the prestigious title of Professional Canine Trainer (PCT-A) from the Pet Professional Accreditation Board. Service dog training is what she is truly passionate about, but she also offers basic training, trick training, and therapy dog training! Ariel has also served in the military (USAF) and volunteered with local fire and EMS departments. She now has her Golden Retriever, Padme, working as a service dog to assist her day to day.

SF Adventure Pet provides intimate group walks M-F serving Marina, Cow Hollow and Pacific Heights neighborhoods. Boarding is offered daily for walking clients only. These dogs become 'at home' with me and one another, as we all enjoy being out together. We walk in GGNRA locations frequenting Crissy Fields, Mountain Lake and Presidio trails, making occasional field trips to Fort Funston or Baker's Beach. This style of walking requires that your pup is able to keep with the group regarding recall and pace. I'll always do my best ensure your pup is safe, happy, and successful with us. I hold a Bachelors in Community Health Science from UNR and studied with Dog Training Internship Academy.

My business name was chosen because that is what we're working with in order to help every dog- the inner dog, their brain. I've been helping dogs and their human companions for 17 years. I have been privileged to work with many dogs who, presenting with a wide variety of challenges, have taught me so much, each leaving me with a legacy to pass on in helping other dogs. Creating trust allows us to teach skills, change behaviors, thus creating that special partnership between our canine friends and their human companions.
