I am passionate about helping folks learn more about their dogs so that they can meet their needs. Our mission at The Cooperative Canine, LLC is to foster a harmonious relationship between people and their canine partners. We strive to provide a comprehensive approach that combines an understanding of applied animal behavior, genetics, the dog's history, the impact of health and nutrition, and the dog's needs to provide realistic solutions to behavior problems. We aim to empower individuals to understand, train, and care for their dogs in a compassionate and cooperative manner. We believe that educating our clients is as much a part of training as working with their dogs. We are committed to pursuing ongoing education to ensure we are using the most humane, effective techniques.

SF Adventure Pet provides intimate group walks M-F serving Marina, Cow Hollow and Pacific Heights neighborhoods. Boarding is offered daily for walking clients only. These dogs become 'at home' with me and one another, as we all enjoy being out together. We walk in GGNRA locations frequenting Crissy Fields, Mountain Lake and Presidio trails, making occasional field trips to Fort Funston or Baker's Beach. This style of walking requires that your pup is able to keep with the group regarding recall and pace. I'll always do my best ensure your pup is safe, happy, and successful with us. I hold a Bachelors in Community Health Science from UNR and studied with Dog Training Internship Academy.

Jessica Ring is the owner of My Fantastic Friend, LLC. Jessica helps you bring out the best in your dog for a happier life together. She strives to provide the most effective, efficient, humane and up-to-date training solutions to her human and canine clients. Jessica offers private and group training for puppies, basic skills, tricks and enrichment, as well as consultations for behavior problems and separation anxiety. Online options are available. Jessica is a Canine Behavior Consultant (PCBC-A), a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), an honors graduate of Jean Donaldson’s Academy for Dog Trainers (CTC), a Pat Miller Certified Trainer and SA Pro Behavior Consultant.

Nakama Dog Training uses force-free, science-based methods to help you and your dog build and maintain a healthy, happy relationship, with emphasis on nurturing your dog's natural behavior while also learning how to behave in a well-mannered way. With Nakama Dog Training, you know you and your dog will be treated with respect, compassion and understanding. Each session will be designed to keep everyone as relaxed, happy and safe as possible, while also learning and having fun!

I was certified as a CPDT-KA and taught basic and intermediate skills in group classes for 17 years. Since the pandemic, I work with dog owners privately. I am a strong believer in the efficacy of positive reinforcement and continuously educate myself to strengthen my understanding of dog behavior. Teaching practicable solutions for impulse control related issues like jumping, excessive barking, leash pulling, etc are just the beginning of helping to create good communication and a strong bond between the dog and their families. I am a SF SPCA certified private trainer. After 11 years of working at the SF SPCA I branched out full time on my own. I offer basic training, leash reactivity training, and have a lot of experience with puppies. I also provide pet sitting in your home as well as training while I stay with your dog or puppy.
