I started walktime in 2019 after working for someone else for a year because I knew that working with dogs is what I want to do for the rest of my life. Also I wanted to provide a trustworthy service that’s owner operated to people in a city full of question marks.

I have always loved animals and since I could remember I was wanting to work alongside animals. My first job when I was just 16 was working in an animal clinic. While I learned a lot and had many experiences, it was a little sad that most of these animals were sick. My introduction to walking dogs professionally came from my employment with A Girl and Your Dog.

We use humane, effective training based on the latest scientific evidence. Our protocols are set to you and your dog up for success. We utilize reward-based, clicker-style teaching which furthers progress toward a more compassionate relationship between humans and animals. ​ 1) Teaching and reinforcing desirable behaviors so they will be more likely to occur in the future. 2) Preventing and interrupting undesirable behaviors without the intentional use of physical or psychological intimidation. 3) Taking the learner’s physical and emotional well-being into account 4) Continuing education with the goal of humane, effective training based on the latest scientific evidence

Pawsitively Paws is a professional dog walking and pet sitting service in the Portland and Vancouver area. We offer on-leash private walks, group walks, cat and other small animal visits, and overnight sittings. Committed to using positive reinforcement techniques only!

Robert works full time boarding and caring for dogs and other pets such as birds, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, fish, lizards and more. With over 40 years of working with dogs and animals in 2015 he decided to board dogs in order to determine his next 4-legged pal. I have been a dog walker, sitter and have boarded dogs for over four years. I have taken care of senior dogs, large breed dogs, puppies and adolescents. I volunteered at an animal shelter where I took many dog handling workshops and am Fear Free certified and first aid CPR certified. I use a positive reinforcement, partnership based, compassionate tuning in approach when walking or otherwise interacting with dogs. I strive to meet the physical and emotional needs of animals through sufficient attention, affection, exercise, and exposure to nature.

These prices includes pick up and drop off within radius: -30 minute walk for $35 (each additional dog per household is $20) -60 minute walk for $65 (each additional dog per household is $20) These prices DON'T include pick up and drop off: -30 minute walk for $25 (each additional dog per household is $15) -60 minute walk for $45 (each additional dog per household is $15) You can drop off at 1540 Hudson Street in RWC If you'd like to add daycare, there would be an additional fee of $40 per day (max of 5 hours).
