Steph trains everyone to meet dogs where they are! She utilizes force free techniques, whether dogs need a little extra help feeling safe, learning how to play with other dogs, learning how to trust people, or just plain making sure they get their exercise while they are out and about (and coming back when called!) She strives to help people learn how to understand their dog while cutting down on undesirable behaviors. Steph has a particular soft spot for all guard dog breeds, from shepherds to bullies, and especially enjoys working with them. Dog Grrl was started in 1997 by owner and operator Jenny Test. Dog Grrl thrived and grew into a doggie daycare space in San Francisco that offered small dog daycare, puppy socials with classes with Smarty Pup and a BnB style boarding facility in Healdsburg California. As the business grew so did the desire to help dogs overcome their fears and anxieties so Jenny went to the Academy for Dog Trainers offered at the SPCA and taught by Jean Donaldson. Manda's Ark focuses on dog boarding and dog walking in Napa, Ca. We do provide cat sitting visits but on a limited basis. We board dogs of all sizes, only a few at a time to ensure everyone gets all the love and attention they need/want! The dogs in our care become part of our family and are treated just as our own two spoiled pups are!

Hello! I'm a registered veterinary technician with a passion for medicine and would love to help watch your fur baby. As much as I love all dog breeds, I am only able to overnight sit small dog breeds at my home. I also offer drop-in visits for kitties at their own homes (once a day or twice a day visits). I am available for weekly dog walking on Mondays and Thursdays ( 1 or 2 drop ins per day) I am comfortable administering most forms of medication as well as SQ fluids or daily injections at home & other basic vet care. I live in the Lower Pac heights, SF and would like to stay local to SF. I would love to get to know you and your babies, let’s chat if you would like to use my services.
