I’ve been working with dogs as a hobby for over 20 years. I grew up training my first dog in both obedience and agility, and I currently have three rescue dogs of my own. I love dogs, cats, and critters of all kinds! Wondering about the name? Gambit was one of my former dogs who has since crossed the rainbow bridge. Whenever she was being naughty, I would jokingly say “dog Gambit!” to her.

My name is Rachel Reeder and I'm a dog walker, boarder, sitter, and lover based in San Francisco, CA. I've combined by lifelong love for dogs and nature into 1 job. I'm a Certified Dog Walker and CPR & First Aid Certified through TopDogSF. When working with dogs, I use evidence-based force-free methods based on positive reinforcement. I bring fun, compassion, patience, and safety to every interaction I have with your pet! Once Upon a Dog Walk is a professional dog walking service for busy, urban, dog owners. Group walks last for a minimum of 90 minutes on the ground. Depending on the order of pickup and location, your pup will be out of the house between 2 - 4hrs. We are licensed and insured in the city of San Francisco and look forward to taking your pup on romps on our coastal trails and beaches!

Hello, I'm Aline from Brazil! I love animals and dogs are my passion. Four years ago I saved a dog that was abandoned on the highway. He was an old golden retriever and he was very sick. He lived with me for almost two years under medical treatment but unfortunately He passed away. I believe Dingo came to my life to teach me what real love is about, and also to make my love for animals grow stronger. I miss taking him for walks 3 or 4 times a day in the quiet neighborhood where I lived in São Paulo. I believe walking dogs is a job that can fulfill me with joy and passion. I'm here to make your dog as happy as I made Dingo!

I have been a dog walker, sitter and have boarded dogs for over four years. I have taken care of senior dogs, large breed dogs, puppies and adolescents. I volunteered at an animal shelter where I took many dog handling workshops and am Fear Free certified and first aid CPR certified. I use a positive reinforcement, partnership based, compassionate tuning in approach when walking or otherwise interacting with dogs. I strive to meet the physical and emotional needs of animals through sufficient attention, affection, exercise, and exposure to nature.

We look for consistent, reliable, long-term pack members, who are eager to have fun/exercise and go on daily adventures with their “second” family:) we offer off-leash pack hikes/walks, as well as daycare. have had many years of experience taking care of animals. I started taking care of animals at 15 years of age and have always had a passion for helping animals feel loved and cared for. My animal care experience included hamsters, birds, reptiles such as lizards, fish, rabbits, chickens, horses and especially dogs. I find joy in taking care of dogs and look foward to the opportunities! I have a yard for them to play in and will take them for walks as well. I have one small dog a Maltipoo who loves to cuddle.
