Hi everyone! My name is Naomi Roxas I've been a dog walker in San Francisco for the last 5 years. I started out working for a dog walking company the first 4 years and in February of 2019 I decided so start my own dog walking coverage business! With my previous company it was always stressful to ask for time off and I found that to be the case for other business owners as well. As a graduate in Psychology from SF State, I find taking time off for self care to be very important and I feel as though that is something many walkers have not had the opportunity to enjoy. I'm Lauri Green (they/them), a dog trainer passionate about positive reinforcement and animal liberation. In 2018, adopting my dog led me to become a full-time trainer. My approach is fun, reward-based, specializing in clicker training, confidence-building for shy/rescue dogs, socialization, and off-leash skills. Dog Grrl was started in 1997 by owner and operator Jenny Test. Dog Grrl thrived and grew into a doggie daycare space in San Francisco that offered small dog daycare, puppy socials with classes with Smarty Pup and a BnB style boarding facility in Healdsburg California. As the business grew so did the desire to help dogs overcome their fears and anxieties so Jenny went to the Academy for Dog Trainers offered at the SPCA and taught by Jean Donaldson. Jenny graduated with honors and went on to apply everything she learned through the Academy to her business on every level. Hi I am Jenny and I love dogs and ALL other life.......The End
