Learning is FUN! I am a certified dog behavior consultant and certified dog trainer in obedeince, nosework and tricks. I am also a Service Dog Coach. I believe in science-based and positive reward-based training methods that create a fun learning environment for both humans and dogs. My name is Alisha Ardiana. I am a positive reinforcement dog trainer who teaches guardians how to support and care for their dog’s unique needs. My specialty is sensitive, reactive, & adolescent dogs. I offer private training and adventure hikes. I can help you expands your social village with client meet ups. I even will take you & your pup to my local bar to practice being in public.

I'd love to help you have a more magical relationship with your dog! My main focus is on puppy raising and separation anxiety, so if those are your concern, I'm here to help! I trained for 4 years at SmartyPup! in San Francisco and now work solely through online coaching*. This is a GREAT way to learn and teach your dog. There are many benefits to online dog training, including fewer distractions early in training, no commute, come in your pajamas, and plenty more! *As much as I would love to, I'm unable to offer in-person training at this time.

I have been a professional dog trainer in NYC for 15 years. As a child, I participated in dog agility and showmanship through 4-H and won several local and state competitions. I began my path to become a trainer by receiving a certification from the vocational school, Animal Behavioral College. When I began to hit a wall in my self-education four years ago, I enrolled in CUNY's Psychology program, and will be graduating May, 2025 with honors with an interdisciplinary BA in Animal Psychology and Creative Writing. I am currently volunteering as a Research Assistant for the Center for Canine Behavioral Studies, as well as assisting in a lab at Hunter studying Pandas. I am also a PPG member.
