I started dogsitting over 20 years ago and became a professional dogwalker when I moved to San Francisco in 2013. I opened Skalliwags Pet Care in 2015 and it's been pure joy getting paid for what I love to do! I do 2 group walks/beach hikes a day that our minimum 60 min each. Groups are on the smaller side to create an ideal environment for exercise and facilitated socialization. I accept dogs in Oakland in neighborhoods near Lake Merritt for Daycare Only

We look for consistent, reliable, long-term pack members, who are eager to have fun/exercise and go on daily adventures with their “second” family:) we offer off-leash pack hikes/walks, as well as daycare. I specialize in small breeds only! I am insured and my home has been inspected to foster by the ASPCA. That being said we provide a loving home environment for your family member. I have cared for many seniors and have extensive experience with special needs dogs. I provide enrichment activities such as snuffle mats, lick mats, frozen healthy treats, a tunnel, and backyard jumps. We are kennel free. I provide boarding and daycare and have about 100 repeat clients! So we have different dogs coming and going daily, although I keep the number of pups at 5. Dogs in my care must be social with other dogs and cannot have separation anxiety or obsessive behaviors.
