Manda's Ark focuses on dog boarding and dog walking in Napa, Ca. We do provide cat sitting visits but on a limited basis. We board dogs of all sizes, only a few at a time to ensure everyone gets all the love and attention they need/want! The dogs in our care become part of our family and are treated just as our own two spoiled pups are!

Dog Grrl was started in 1997 by owner and operator Jenny Test. Dog Grrl thrived and grew into a doggie daycare space in San Francisco that offered small dog daycare, puppy socials with classes with Smarty Pup and a BnB style boarding facility in Healdsburg California. As the business grew so did the desire to help dogs overcome their fears and anxieties so Jenny went to the Academy for Dog Trainers offered at the SPCA and taught by Jean Donaldson. The thought of Courts Canines and Cats started in April 2022. in January 2023 I was laid off from my high tech job and decided to finally open up for business. I grew up with cats, dogs, horses, goats, ducks, birds and more! I have 3 dogs and a rescue cat. 2 of our dogs are Cavalier King Charles' and the other is a Lab/Retriever mix. My lab mix is my daughter's service dog. I went through a wonderful 2 week training where I lived up at Canine Companions in Santa Rosa. I lived, breathed and trained all things related to service dogs. I offer boarding, doggie daycare, dog walking and drop ins for fur babies. I give them a happy safe space with lots of love while you are away.

I started working in the pet care industry after I took in my grandfather's dog, Roxie. I worked in a small local pet shop, Sunset Pet Supply from 2014 - 2016. I learned all about animal nutrition and wellness. Then I moved into a dog walking position 2017 - 2018. I loved the dog walking so much, I decided to move on and start my own business. I wanted to be able to do more work to help the dogs and their pawrents!

Our focus is one on one care for dogs (and cats) that may struggle with traditional care settings and group care environments. Whether a dog is shy, fearful, reactive, anxious, aggressive, or perhaps just intact or a senior that has become selective; many dogs find group daycares, group walks, and traditional boarding environments stressful, or aren't able to go - so we are here to help! Hi I'm Jenn, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (Knowledge Assessed) with a background in Neurobiology, Physiology, Animal Behavior, and Veterinary Medicine- I was *almost* a doctor.
