Started in 2018 we evolved from the Coachella Valley Dog Club (which started in 2008) into an even bigger concept to serve the needs of the Coachella Valley. All it took was two dog-obsessed best friends and a shared dream for all dogs to be treated equally. One a trainer and behavior consultant and one a medical practitioner. Both with a love of their big dogs, their families, and tenacity to make their dreams happen. We have one of only two local Certified Professional Dog Trainer Knowledge Assessed and Associate Credentialed Dog Behavior Consultants as a part of our driving team. They are also a certified trick dog instructor and fear-free certified.

I have been working with dogs since 2016. In 2017 I started a dog walking and pet sitting business and my passion to help families with their fearful and aggressive dogs grew. In 2018 I attended Karen Pryor Academy for Professional Behavior and Training graduating with distinction. My personal dogs have had training challenges that allows me to be empathetic and help personalize my training plans for my clients. I continue to study, take classes, and collaborate with fellow trainers to make sure my clients get specialized training plans to suit their unique needs.

Modern Hound is owned and operated by Shoshi Parks, Ph.D., CPDT-ka, CSAT. Shoshi is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). She completed the San Francisco SPCA's Dog Training Internship Program and Public Teaching Internship and is certified by the Canine Behavior Academy of the Marin Humane Society. In addition to her private dog training, Shoshi taught for several years at the San Francisco SPCA and continues to teach at other locations around the city. Shoshi also works with high-risk dogs adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley.

Dogs In Harmony specializes in early puppy development and training. In Harmony School puppies under the age of 4 months develop solid foundations for a lifetime of learning. In this day school, we fully utilize the critical socialization stage to positively introduce sounds, objects, textures, handling and teach appropriate social behavior.

At C&S, we know that all animals are individuals and each of them are unique and special to us. We tailor our services to suite you and your furry companions. Whether you have a dog that struggles with strangers, a kitten who think’s your curtains are great fun, or you need help picking the right diet, we can help. We can also help if you have any welfare concerns or basic training needs. We are qualified up to degree level and are always looking at new courses to learn more! All the methods we use are positive, reward based training which is backed by the most up to date science. We are also fully insured to ensure the safety of everyone. Great Companions offers force-free, positive reinforcement training, mostly using the clicker, to help people and their dogs develop great communication skills and trust. In addition to private lessons, Great Companions offers classes in Puppy Manners, Foundations, Advanced Manners, Canine Good Citizen, Rally, Agility, Scent Work, Reactive Dog Class, Tricks, Treiball, Confidence Building, Parkour, and other specialty classes. Class size is small to maximize individual attention.

Jan Marinelli is a Positive Reinforcement / Force Free dog trainer located in the Summerville, South Carolina region. Jan believes that her work is to help dogs and their humans communicate more clearly to each other for the enrichment of their lives together. Throughout this work, she offers support and encouragement to both canines and humans to learn new behaviors through healthy play, lots of praise, and practice. Jan has successfully completed Pat Miller's Level 1 training. She is also a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, and is an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen trainer and evaluator.

We recently moved from VT back to SF (was using the DBA Ruff Riders K9 Adventures in SF from 2002-2021). We offer private training, day training, solo walks and sub group dog walking, group training classes.

The Dogs Will Rise Modern Dog Training is a VSA Certified R+, positive reinforcement dog trainer focused on the care, training, and safety of dogs and their families. We offer Family Dog Mediation and handle all breeds and ages. We offer In-Home Training, Virtual Training, Dog Walking, and Drop-In Visits.

Hi I'm Jenn, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (Knowledge Assessed) with a background in Neurobiology, Physiology, Animal Behavior, and Veterinary Medicine- I was *almost* a doctor. Now I am a PetLife coach, teaching animals and people how to coexist harmoniously at home, in public, and especially at the vet's. When caregivers work together, animals win!
