Hi! I'm Aimee, the dog trainer and owner/operator behind It's a Dog's World SF Dog Training. I started as a group dog walking business in 2007. In 2009, I became a certified dog trainer after graduating with honors from The Academy for Dog Trainers at the SF SPCA, taught by the world-renowned Jean Donaldson. Since then, I have been working and helping dogs and their humans for thousands and thousands and thousands of hours. Having trained in San Francisco for so long also means that I know and understand this market. I'm Lauri Green (they/them), a dog trainer passionate about positive reinforcement and animal liberation. In 2018, adopting my dog led me to become a full-time trainer. My approach is fun, reward-based, specializing in clicker training, confidence-building for shy/rescue dogs, socialization, and off-leash skills. Started in 2018 we evolved from the Coachella Valley Dog Club (which started in 2008) into an even bigger concept to serve the needs of the Coachella Valley. All it took was two dog-obsessed best friends and a shared dream for all dogs to be treated equally. One a trainer and behavior consultant and one a medical practitioner. Both with a love of their big dogs, their families, and tenacity to make their dreams happen. We have one of only two local Certified Professional Dog Trainer Knowledge Assessed and Associate Credentialed Dog Behavior Consultants as a part of our driving team. They are also a certified trick dog instructor and fear-free certified.

Jan Marinelli is a Positive Reinforcement / Force Free dog trainer located in the Summerville, South Carolina region. Jan believes that her work is to help dogs and their humans communicate more clearly to each other for the enrichment of their lives together. Throughout this work, she offers support and encouragement to both canines and humans to learn new behaviors through healthy play, lots of praise, and practice. Jan has successfully completed Pat Miller's Level 1 training. She is also a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, and is an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen trainer and evaluator.

I love to learn and go to training, veterinary, and behavior conferences to stay up to date on the most current information on training methods, anxiety, and aggression. I specialize in helping pets with anxiety and aggression during vet visits, and I love teaching owners how to help their pets gain confidence in previously frightening environments.
