Prior to dog sitting, my pet care experience includes fostering rescues with Wonder Dog Rescue, Grateful Dogs Rescue and the SF/SPCA shelter. I also have experience as a volunteer dog walker at the SF/SPCA. I have experience working with dogs with a wide range of issues including: seniors, dogs with medical issues, including trauma and abuse/neglect. I have a special love for my work with fostering rescues, as well as walking shelter dogs. It’s an honor to have helped save the lives of many dogs. I started a professional dog walking business in San Francisco, CA in the summer of 1992. I walked dogs and boarded dogs in San Francisco for 27 wonderful years. At the end of 2019, I made the decision to move out of San Francisco and move back to the East Bay, where I was born and raised. In 2020, I moved to beautiful Castro Valley and now I am boarding dogs ( small dogs only ) out of my home. I have a lovely park-like backyard, complete with its own "dog park" (synthetic lawn). I rescued a shelter dog in the middle of the pandemic. He is a 15 pound mixed breed dog named Fonzie. Fonzie gets along great with all dogs. I am licensed, bonded and insured.

These prices includes pick up and drop off within radius: -30 minute walk for $35 (each additional dog per household is $20) -60 minute walk for $65 (each additional dog per household is $20) These prices DON'T include pick up and drop off: -30 minute walk for $25 (each additional dog per household is $15) -60 minute walk for $45 (each additional dog per household is $15) You can drop off at 1540 Hudson Street in RWC If you'd like to add daycare, there would be an additional fee of $40 per day (max of 5 hours).

I take small to medium-sized dogs I to my home for day & overnight care. I try to limit it to 3 guests & the guests are treated like our own. Only 100% house-trained & dog-friendly dogs, please. Please be advised-my son is a musician, his instrument is the drum set, and he practices almost daily for about an hour. Most dogs don’t mind it, but FYI . I also do cat visits!
