I’ve been working with dogs as a hobby for over 20 years. I grew up training my first dog in both obedience and agility, and I currently have three rescue dogs of my own. I love dogs, cats, and critters of all kinds! Wondering about the name? Gambit was one of my former dogs who has since crossed the rainbow bridge. Whenever she was being naughty, I would jokingly say “dog Gambit!” to her.

Heidi started swiShing tails dog training in 2019, bringing 8 years of experience of working with dogs. Heidi provides walking in SF, and boarding and training in SF & the peninsula. She also teaches agility, and competes with both her border collie and beagle in agility and rally. She only uses positive reinforcement and science-based methods in dog training and walking, which is why her canine clients are always excited to go out and play.

Hi there! Happy Scamper was started in 2013 with one goal in mind-- providing the highest quality care for pups and their humans. We have thousands of playgroup walks under our belts learning the in's and out's of dog behavior, safe handling, positive reinforcement training, dog park etiquette, and adorable picture taking! Our pups enjoy off leash walks in a beautiful private fenced acreage lot with occasional visits to Funston! As of 2019 my wife Vanessa officially joined Happy Scamper making us a family run business with 16 years combined experience. Dogs love me, and I love them. I've had dogs my whole life. Whether it's for a walk or an extended stay, I will treat your dog as though they're my own. We take long walks and go to the park daily. At home, they can use the fenced yard while supervised, but typically they're too tired and just want to relax and sleep. There are dog beds, bowls, toys, and a small crate. To develop strong bonds with the dogs, form cohesive packs, and ensure they get plenty of exercise, we do not use a car. We explore San Francisco on foot as we visit the local off leash dog parks. We are the connellys. I’m Jen. Stay at home mom and pet obsessed. My husband, Matt, is a truck driver and loves hanging out with our fur friends when he’s home. We have one 12 year old princess, our daughter, mckayla, who all of this was born from. We watch pets to help pay her competition dance fees. We all love pets and have two pups of our own. Our 4 year old goldendoodle, Mia, and our 7 year old jack russel, Toby. We have a 1/3 acre privacy fenced backyard and though our house is small, it’s filled with everything a dog could want or need. They have full run of our home and we make sure they have the best possible stay!
