The Barkmont provides the finest dog daycare and boarding services in Berkeley and its surrounding communities. We're located at the corner of San Pablo and Pardee in West Berkeley, convenient locally and a few short blocks away from the Ashby and University exits of the I80/580.

BADDogsInc offers group and private training at our facility in Corona. Founder Barbara Davis, CDBC, CPDT-KA specializes in working directly with families to resolve the most complex dog behavior problems, including aggression, anxiety, fear and others. Most services available in person or online. House calls are available. Our team members are required to attend at least 50 hours each year of continuing education programs to help ensure we bring you the most complete and up-to-date training programs available!

HFDT offers force-free, reward-based dog training from puppy I to adult reactive "aggressive" dogs. I work with ALL ages, sizes and breeds and tailor classes to promote demonstrable learning, real life skills and a happy dog.

My goal is for you and your pup to have fun during the training process. Even though training is a commitment that takes effort and time, and sometimes we are working to address difficult challenges with our pups, I hope you look forward to our sessions. By educating you and applying positive reinforcement in working with you and your dog, I seek to foster lifelong trust, improved communication between you and your dog, and joy in your relationship together. I'm a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, and in the process of working towards my Control Unleashed Certification. I love continuing my education so I can be a better trainer for my clients and for my own dog!

In 2000, as the creator of Give a Dog a Bone, Corinne pioneered environmental enrichment for dogs in long term shelter care. In developing and managing her program, she gained invaluable experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, dogs with diverse behavior issues, and dogs who simply needed a leg up to rejoin their community. Using force free, science based training, Corinne wants to see your dog learn with enthusiasm and enjoyment. She does one-on-one training, coaching, socialization, behavior consults, and outings for those dogs who find their world challenging. Her skill set includes basic manners, foundation skills, reactivity, and shy/fearful dogs. She boards sm or sm/med dogs.

As a dog trainer, Lauren is passionate about demystifying canine behavior and making training fun! She believes that understanding and appreciating how dogs communicate with us is paramount to creating strong dog-human bonds and happy homes. Modern Hound is owned and operated by Shoshi Parks, Ph.D., CPDT-ka, CSAT. Shoshi is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). She completed the San Francisco SPCA's Dog Training Internship Program and Public Teaching Internship and is certified by the Canine Behavior Academy of the Marin Humane Society. In addition to her private dog training, Shoshi taught for several years at the San Francisco SPCA and continues to teach at other locations around the city. Shoshi also works with high-risk dogs adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley.

Hi, there! I am a CPDT-KA credentialed, Fear-Free Certified dog trainer living and practicing out of San Francisco. I have an extensive background in the shelter and rescue world, and am also very passionate about purebred dogs, breed-specific behavioral traits, and helping urban dogs find activities that ignite their genetic strengths and talents. I am proud to use only rewards-based, motivational training methods. I train in a way that is fluid, exciting, and highly engaging, ensuring that every dog I work with WANTS to learn. My special areas of interest include puppy development, leash skills, reactivity, fears and sensitivities, cooperative care, scentwork, and general household skills.
