I’m a professional, certified dog trainer, specializing in puppy training and basic obedience. I offer dog training, reinforcement walks, and pet sitting. I’m based in NYC, but will travel to Philly, NJ, and CT.

My goal as a trainer is to always empower guardians to create strong relationships with their dogs based on clear communication, deep rooted connection and cooperation. I truly believe that this allows the dog to become a more mindful thinker. I use force-free, science-based, positive reinforcement training methods that yield terrific results. Ariel has been working with animals since she was a child, and has been professionally training dogs for 5 years. She joined the Pet Professional Guild (PPG) in 2017. She is one of the less than 10 trainers in the US to earn the prestigious title of Professional Canine Trainer (PCT-A) from the Pet Professional Accreditation Board. Service dog training is what she is truly passionate about, but she also offers basic training, trick training, and therapy dog training! Ariel has also served in the military (USAF) and volunteered with local fire and EMS departments. She now has her Golden Retriever, Padme, working as a service dog to assist her day to day.

The Life of Kai is a 501-c3. Our vision is to have fewer displaced dogs in the shelters and more pets in the homes. We hope to reach our goal through several programs. Humane education teaches empathy to build a kinder and compassionate generation. Training and dog behavior books based on science are available to the public with free and easy access. Coaching new adopters and guardians and teaching pet dogs to co-exist through better understanding of canine behaviors. Working pro-bono with rescues and fosters to make rescued dogs more adoptable and supporting a foster-centric community by creating a foster registry.

Brittany Fulton has contributed to a rewarding human/animal bond through positive reinforcement training for more than ten years. She has a degree from the University of Oregon in psychology with an emphasis on animal behavior. She also has Certification in Training and Counseling from the Academy for Dog Trainers. Brittany's business, Dances with Dogs, serves the Washington, D.C. metro area. She offers day training and private sessions to you in your home. Brittany can help you and your dog with basic obedience, puppy training, reactivity, and aggression. She specializes in helping clients with fear and reactivity issues.
