I strive to accomplish this and it is fun doing so. I am extremely vigilant about your dogs safety and am constantly striving towards educating myself on the best force free training methods in order to establish a loving relationship between myself and your canine companion. I train through gaining trust and build strong relationships with the dogs this way. I am not afraid to use treats and love. These are my tools. This means no shock, prong or choke chains or physical punishment. And lastly, we have sooo much fun!

I have been an in-home trainer of dogs and puppies in the Greater Baltimore area for 29 years. She has a degree from the University of Oregon in psychology with an emphasis on animal behavior. She also has Certification in Training and Counseling from the Academy for Dog Trainers. Brittany's business, Dances with Dogs, serves the Washington, D.C. metro area. She offers day training and private sessions to you in your home. Brittany can help you and your dog with basic obedience, puppy training, reactivity, and aggression. She specializes in helping clients with fear and reactivity issues.

Constant Companion, LLC was born in 2006. It is the culmination of several years of dreaming it, developing it, and seeing it to fruition. I am a lifetime dog guardian and dog lover. I currently share my home with my husband, 5 shelter dogs, 30 chickens, and 3 sheep. I have experience with all creatures great and small. I have a 30 year career in pharmacy, 8 years experience as a veterinary technician, and a lifetime of caring for animals. I've worked with shelter dogs for 12 years and have experience with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I am also a Peaceable Paws Affiliate and will complete my PMCT (Pat Miller Certified Trainer) credential in 2022.
