​My name is Chris Durrant, CPDT-KA. I am a Professional, Certificated Dog Trainer. I specialize in fear and reactivity in dogs. I truly enjoy solving companion dog behaviors and teaching people how to do so. I love and understand dogs on a deep level - how they learn and think, what makes them happy and attentive and what causes them to act out. Whether your dog pulls on leash, chews up the furniture, barks at other dogs or is fearful of things, I can help. Owner/Trainer Shane Stanis, CDBC, CPDT-KSA has been training dogs professionally for over 20 years. As an IAABC certified dog behavior consultant, I work primarily with families struggling with aggression, reactivity, phobias, compulsive behaviors, and my specialty - fear & anxiety. I work with clients in person in Central Contra Costa county, and virtually nationwide (and occasionally internationally). I also run an online group training program for shy and fearful dogs, Confidence Builders Academy.

SF Adventure Pet provides intimate group walks M-F serving Marina, Cow Hollow and Pacific Heights neighborhoods. Boarding is offered daily for walking clients only. These dogs become 'at home' with me and one another, as we all enjoy being out together. We walk in GGNRA locations frequenting Crissy Fields, Mountain Lake and Presidio trails, making occasional field trips to Fort Funston or Baker's Beach. This style of walking requires that your pup is able to keep with the group regarding recall and pace. I'll always do my best ensure your pup is safe, happy, and successful with us. I hold a Bachelors in Community Health Science from UNR and studied with Dog Training Internship Academy.
