Founded in 2014, Pawsitopia provides Truckee, CA pups with humane and ethical science-based private training services and group adventure walks.

I have always loved animals and since I could remember I was wanting to work alongside animals. My first job when I was just 16 was working in an animal clinic. While I learned a lot and had many experiences, it was a little sad that most of these animals were sick. My introduction to walking dogs professionally came from my employment with A Girl and Your Dog.

We treat your pets like family and give your furry friends the same love and care they would receive from you! It brings us great joy to see them happily wagging their tails, living life to the fullest! We offer a variety of services: dog walking & hikes, private walks, kennel-free boarding, drop-in visits, cat care and house sitting. We practice safety, trail etiquette, and are committed to assuring your pet has a great time with his or her pack mates! Whatever the dog-venture we will bring you home a calm, happy, and relaxed best buddy!

I only board dogs that are enrolled in my daily group walks. I walk dogs of all shapes and sizes even though my profile says I only walk small dogs. I don't know how that happened or how to change it.

Action Dog! specializes in off-leash Adventure Hikes around the East Bay Regional Parks and is committed to offering a reliable, dependable, and affordable dog walking service to people who want their dogs to enjoy life as much as possible. Our hikes are fun, we encourage dogs to be themselves and sniff, play and explore safely. We positively reinforce good behavior, and provide dogs an outlet for healthy socialization as well as daily practice of basic commands and trail etiquette. I started walktime in 2019 after working for someone else for a year because I knew that working with dogs is what I want to do for the rest of my life. Also I wanted to provide a trustworthy service that’s owner operated to people in a city full of question marks.
