Hi, I'm Laela! My aim is to facilitate connection, understanding, and skills for dogs and their people. I focus on pet dogs who need help to get along in today's modern society, from potty training to impulse control to reactivity and more!

I always use Positive Reinforcement and Rewards-Based methods in all my training. Behavior Modification is always done using scientifically proven methods to modify, reshape or extinguish the unwanted behavior. I believe in being patient, compassionate, helping the dog to reshape its behavior at a comfortable pace for the dog, and doing it with confidence. That is where training you - the person - to train your dog, comes into my training philosophy.

In 2000, as the creator of Give a Dog a Bone, Corinne pioneered environmental enrichment for dogs in long term shelter care. In developing and managing her program, she gained invaluable experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, dogs with diverse behavior issues, and dogs who simply needed a leg up to rejoin their community. Using force free, science based training, Corinne wants to see your dog learn with enthusiasm and enjoyment. She does one-on-one training, coaching, socialization, behavior consults, and outings for those dogs who find their world challenging. Her skill set includes basic manners, foundation skills, reactivity, and shy/fearful dogs. She boards sm or sm/med dogs.

My name is Irith (pronounced "Ee-reet") and I'm a certified professional pet and people trainer. My job is to help people create an environment where their pet has lots of good options, and almost always makes the right choices. Pets who are empowered to make their own choices are happier and more relaxed. Pets who make the right choices are a pleasure to live with. I’m an expert in making that happen. The Dogs Will Rise Modern Dog Training is a VSA Certified R+, positive reinforcement dog trainer focused on the care, training, and safety of dogs and their families. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) who has been teaching group classes and working with private clients for over 20 years. My goals as a trainer are to give owners the skills necessary to build better relationships and solve behavior challenges with their dogs using reward-based, positive training methods grounded in learning theory. I work 1:1 with clients to solve their training challenges including leash manners & reactivity, behavioral problems, training fundamentals for new puppy/dog, preparing for baby and child/dog relationship training.
