Let’s face it, Dogs Rule!I love dogs and love working with them. Dogs are pure joy! My goal is to give your dog the safest, most fun walk everyday with me. I strive to accomplish this and it is fun doing so. I am extremely vigilant about your dogs safety and am constantly striving towards educating myself on the best force free training methods in order to establish a loving relationship between myself and your canine companion. I train through gaining trust and build strong relationships with the dogs this way. I am not afraid to use treats and love. These are my tools. This means no shock, prong or choke chains or physical punishment. And lastly, we have sooo much fun!

Our focus is one on one care for dogs (and cats) that may struggle with traditional care settings and group care environments. Whether a dog is shy, fearful, reactive, anxious, aggressive, or perhaps just intact or a senior that has become selective; many dogs find group daycares, group walks, and traditional boarding environments stressful, or aren't able to go - so we are here to help! I have loved animals all my life and feel a connection to dogs in particular. I have been training dogs professionally for 25 years and have been active in the rescue/shelter world for 30 years. I teach owners how to work with their dogs in a positive, fear-free environment and enhance the bond they have with their dog through consistent feedback and reinforcement. I work with dogs of all ages and breeds and have extensive knowledge with dogs that have behavioral concerns. On the flip side, I become the student when I attend workshops and seminars to learn new training methods. The field of animal behavior continues to evolve as well as our understanding of how animals learn.

Hi I'm Jenn, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (Knowledge Assessed) with a background in Neurobiology, Physiology, Animal Behavior, and Veterinary Medicine- I was *almost* a doctor. Now I am a PetLife coach, teaching animals and people how to coexist harmoniously at home, in public, and especially at the vet's. When caregivers work together, animals win!

C + C Dog Adventures is a small dog care business located in the Oakland Hills. Started in 2013, I have been happy to have spent over ten years hiking in the hills with my pack and hosting dogs in my home. When your dog stays with me, they are treated like a member of the family. Your dog will enjoy daily hikes in the Oakland hills off leash for maximum fun and stimulation. I have a safe, enclosed yard for the dogs to enjoy. Force-free and positive reinforcement. Small scale and personal service.
