I'm Paula Sharkey, the owner and operator of Shark & Paws K9, a pet sitting and dog training service dedicated to enriching the lives of both furry friends and their humans. For over 10 years, I've fostered a deep connection with the canine world, working extensively with both working line dogs and a diverse range of pet breeds. This experience has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of dog behavior, training techniques, and the unique needs of different breeds.

Hi there! My name is Erik Grow and I've been a dog care professional since 2008, having first worked for other pet care businesses in Marin and San Francisco. I have owned and operated The Good Life Dog Care since 2012, with a sabbatical from 2019 to 2021. I put the safety of your pets above all other concerns, followed next by exercise and socialization. We do a mix of off-leash and on-leash walking so as to make sure all the dogs get enough exercise. It's important to know that your dog is having a good time, so I take pictures and videos during the walk to share on our Instagram page. We are a San Francisco-based dog walking service. We'll take your dog on trail hikes in nature, allow them the opportunity to socialize with a familiar pack, and participate in enrichment activities that will help make for a holistically happy and healthy hound. We use positive reward-based training first and foremost, and we work with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. We also specialize in working one-on-one to help dog owners manage leash reactivity.

A graduate of the Dog Training Internship Academy - a comprehensive program that provided me with a thorough understanding of animal behavior & learning and focused on the use of science-based training techniques to change both a dog's behavior and a dog's underlying emotional state that may be driving undesirable behavior. I'm also certified by The Certification Council of Pet Dog Trainers. This requires that I have a minimum of 300 hours of experience; references from a veterinarian, client, and colleague(s); and have passed a comprehensive examination testing my knowledge of learning theory, canine ethology, animal husbandry, classroom management, and teaching techniques.

Hi, This is Marco, I’ve been working professionally as a certified Dogwalker since 2012, graduated as a dog trainer in 2017, and I’ve been owning and operating Heart of the Pack, my dog walking company in San Francisco since 2020. I live in Marin with my wife and daughters, and board my clients pups at my place on a regular basis.

In home pet/house sitting Cat sitting services Occasionally an opening for tiny dogs. I only walk 3 small dogs max at a time, so my dog walking services are rare. Feel free to inquire if there is an opening at this time.

I only board dogs that are enrolled in my daily group walks. I walk dogs of all shapes and sizes even though my profile says I only walk small dogs. I don't know how that happened or how to change it.
