I have loved animals all my life and feel a connection to dogs in particular. I have been training dogs professionally for 25 years and have been active in the rescue/shelter world for 30 years. I teach owners how to work with their dogs in a positive, fear-free environment and enhance the bond they have with their dog through consistent feedback and reinforcement. I work with dogs of all ages and breeds and have extensive knowledge with dogs that have behavioral concerns. On the flip side, I become the student when I attend workshops and seminars to learn new training methods. The field of animal behavior continues to evolve as well as our understanding of how animals learn.

Our mission is to provide professional in-home pet services by using our staff who are knowledgeable , ethical,reliable and , of course , love your furry friends as much as you do! Instead of constantly switching up the walkers like other companies, Doggiewalks strives to create long-lasting,personal relationships between dogs and their walkers to maximize their self -growth and ensure their individual needs are being met. Hello, my name is Kat and I have experienced in taking care of dogs for over 20 years. I currently have a Great Pyrenees whom I rescued 6yrs ago. He’s great with all dogs. Your fur baby will be in great paws with me. They will get 3 walks a day and plenty of exercises under my care. I will treat them just like they’re my own pup..

What started as a call to action and doing right by the furry friends in my life, this business was birthed from the trust and encouragement of my friends who had dogs and needed support. Fourteen years later, my team and I are ever grateful to have supported hundreds of pet owners, and made some life long friendships along the way. From Daycare support seven days a week, and Boarding overnight three hundred and sixty five a year, my passionate team is ready to support with your requested needs. I have taken care of dogs, cats, fish, birds, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and reptiles. To say I love all animals is an understatement. I also do regular house sitting offering plant care as well as babysitting for all ages. Willing to travel with you for your pet or child sitting needs. I pet sit full time so I'm available for all your pets' needs. With prior consent, I'm happy to take your dog to a park of your choice. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

I grew up living with and loving dogs. When my kids were young I hired dog walkers and was always curious about the job. In 2013, we got our dog Lily and I became and licensed dog walker and started A Walk in the Park. Since then I've done group walks at Fort Funston, Bernal Hill, Stern Grove and McLaren Park. I also do doggie daycare and boarding in my home in Noe Valley. I love spending my days outside with dogs and feel very grateful to do this work.
