Dreamer Dogs offers private coaching sessions for you to learn how to train your dog, and day training programs, where we start the training for you and then transfer the skills back to the owner.

As an IAABC certified dog behavior consultant, I work primarily with families struggling with aggression, reactivity, phobias, compulsive behaviors, and my specialty - fear & anxiety. I work with clients in person in Central Contra Costa county, and virtually nationwide (and occasionally internationally). I also run an online group training program for shy and fearful dogs, Confidence Builders Academy.

Whether they're a puppy, young adult, injured, athlete or senior I can customize a fitness program to help your dog get and stay strong throughout their life. I've been in business since 2006, specializing in K9 Fitness since 2016, and have a dozen certifications in canine fitness, conditioning, sports training, and massage. What started as a call to action and doing right by the furry friends in my life, this business was birthed from the trust and encouragement of my friends who had dogs and needed support. My name is Stephanie, and I am a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner with 14 years of experience working in the veterinary field. I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Biology from the University of California, Davis, accreditations in low-stress handling, Fear Free, and more. I love to learn and go to training, veterinary, and behavior conferences to stay up to date on the most current information on training methods, anxiety, and aggression. I specialize in helping pets with anxiety and aggression during vet visits, and I love teaching owners how to help their pets gain confidence in previously frightening environments.

With 15 years of experience as accredited positive reinforcement trainers, we provide clients with integrative dog training and behavior modification services.
