Hi yall! I've been professionally walking dogs since 2017. After two years of working for another company I took the leap and started my own company in early 2019. I focus on giving dog owners happy, healthy and tired pups! I offer off leash, group hikes all over Redwood Regional Parks and across Oakland.

Walks Fur You is a dog walking and boarding service dedicated to providing exceptional care for pets while their owners are away. I offer personalized dog walking services, including individual and group walks, and secure, comfortable boarding accommodations with tailored care. My services are designed to meet the needs of busy professionals, travelers, and pet enthusiasts, ensuring peace of mind with every visit. With a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, I aim to be the trusted choice for pet owners in our community.

I have loved animals all my life and feel a connection to dogs in particular. I have been training dogs professionally for 25 years and have been active in the rescue/shelter world for 30 years. I teach owners how to work with their dogs in a positive, fear-free environment and enhance the bond they have with their dog through consistent feedback and reinforcement. I work with dogs of all ages and breeds and have extensive knowledge with dogs that have behavioral concerns. On the flip side, I become the student when I attend workshops and seminars to learn new training methods. The field of animal behavior continues to evolve as well as our understanding of how animals learn.

I started dog sitting after noticing a gap in the market. Daycares juggling numerous clients at can’t possibly cater to each dog’s unique needs. I commit to ONE dog at a time and providing individualized, structured care. Your dog will never be subjected to yelling, yanking, or punishing. I lead with compassion and gentleness - an approach they deserve. I provide care at my residence, offering 24/7 supervision for SA pups, exercise, and frequent photo updates. Robert works full time boarding and caring for dogs and other pets such as birds, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, fish, lizards and more. With over 40 years of working with dogs and animals in 2015 he decided to board dogs in order to determine his next 4-legged pal. Unfortunately, or fortunately he was blessed with a lot of business and wonderful clients. His pastime quickly turned into a business of love. He is the owner of K9 Lounge and looks forward to pampering your fur or non fur baby.

I have had dogs all my life the 22 years I grew up in The Netherlands. When I moved to San Francisco I felt that this was my calling; working as a professional with and for dogs! I have a psychology degree from The Netherlands, and finished the dog walking course before starting my own business. After that I wanted to learn more about dog psychology and training, so I took an intense course at a training academy. Every day I love my job more. The dogs are so happy and their gratitude makes every day a great day. My main goal is having as much fun with my pack as we can so that they can return home well satisfied from great exercise!
