In 2000, as the creator of Give a Dog a Bone, Corinne pioneered environmental enrichment for dogs in long term shelter care. In developing and managing her program, she gained invaluable experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, dogs with diverse behavior issues, and dogs who simply needed a leg up to rejoin their community. Using force free, science based training, Corinne wants to see your dog learn with enthusiasm and enjoyment. She does one-on-one training, coaching, socialization, behavior consults, and outings for those dogs who find their world challenging. Her skill set includes basic manners, foundation skills, reactivity, and shy/fearful dogs. She boards sm or sm/med dogs.

I became a full-time traveling house sitter in July 2020 and have thoroughly enjoyed this as I love to travel and staying in different homes to care for their pets. I work remotely as an insurance auditor so I am home often. Outside of work, I enjoy exercising 6 days a week as I am a retired triathlete.

Newman's Dog Training, Walking and Pet Sitting has been serving the Kansas City Metro since 2011. Owner, Jena Newman, is a former zookeeper who trained exotics like elephants, sea lions, gorillas and more. After her time at the KC Zoo she decided to take her training into dog clients homes and created NDT. I specialize in small breeds only! I am insured and my home has been inspected to foster by the ASPCA. That being said we provide a loving home environment for your family member. I have cared for many seniors and have extensive experience with special needs dogs. I provide enrichment activities such as snuffle mats, lick mats, frozen healthy treats, a tunnel, and backyard jumps. We are kennel free. I provide boarding and daycare and have about 100 repeat clients! So we have different dogs coming and going daily, although I keep the number of pups at 5. Dogs in my care must be social with other dogs and cannot have separation anxiety or obsessive behaviors.

I started dog sitting after noticing a gap in the market. Daycares juggling numerous clients at can’t possibly cater to each dog’s unique needs. I commit to ONE dog at a time and providing individualized, structured care. Your dog will never be subjected to yelling, yanking, or punishing. I lead with compassion and gentleness - an approach they deserve. I provide care at my residence, offering 24/7 supervision for SA pups, exercise, and frequent photo updates. The thought of Courts Canines and Cats started in April 2022. in January 2023 I was laid off from my high tech job and decided to finally open up for business. I grew up with cats, dogs, horses, goats, ducks, birds and more! I have 3 dogs and a rescue cat. 2 of our dogs are Cavalier King Charles' and the other is a Lab/Retriever mix. My lab mix is my daughter's service dog. I went through a wonderful 2 week training where I lived up at Canine Companions in Santa Rosa. I lived, breathed and trained all things related to service dogs. I offer boarding, doggie daycare, dog walking and drop ins for fur babies. I give them a happy safe space with lots of love while you are away.
