Our dogwalking service is at Fort funston in San Francisco, a magnificent park near the ocean. We also provide petsitting . I started working in the pet care industry after I took in my grandfather's dog, Roxie. I worked in a small local pet shop, Sunset Pet Supply from 2014 - 2016. I learned all about animal nutrition and wellness. Then I moved into a dog walking position 2017 - 2018. I loved the dog walking so much, I decided to move on and start my own business. I wanted to be able to do more work to help the dogs and their pawrents!

I have had dogs all my life the 22 years I grew up in The Netherlands. When I moved to San Francisco I felt that this was my calling; working as a professional with and for dogs! I have a psychology degree from The Netherlands, and finished the dog walking course before starting my own business. After that I wanted to learn more about dog psychology and training, so I took an intense course at a training academy. Every day I love my job more. The dogs are so happy and their gratitude makes every day a great day. My main goal is having as much fun with my pack as we can so that they can return home well satisfied from great exercise!

Started in 2018 we evolved from the Coachella Valley Dog Club (which started in 2008) into an even bigger concept to serve the needs of the Coachella Valley. All it took was two dog-obsessed best friends and a shared dream for all dogs to be treated equally. One a trainer and behavior consultant and one a medical practitioner. Both with a love of their big dogs, their families, and tenacity to make their dreams happen. We have one of only two local Certified Professional Dog Trainer Knowledge Assessed and Associate Credentialed Dog Behavior Consultants as a part of our driving team. They are also a certified trick dog instructor and fear-free certified.

Heidi started swiShing tails dog training in 2019, bringing 8 years of experience of working with dogs. Heidi provides walking in SF, and boarding and training in SF & the peninsula. She also teaches agility, and competes with both her border collie and beagle in agility and rally. She only uses positive reinforcement and science-based methods in dog training and walking, which is why her canine clients are always excited to go out and play.
