RT provides Training & Group Adventures for large & working breed dogs. We believe our dog's best teachers are our own alumni dogs, trained by us. By using a combo of individual relationship-based training, with small group sessions that include enrichment, exposure & socialization, we've been successful w/ improving dog's skills & increasing desirable behaviors. We enjoy helping adolescents, fearful/reactive, high energy dogs. *GROUP ADVENTURES are structured, focused on socialization w/ high activity & guided safe 'Big Dog Play". Alyssa got her start pet-sitting then moved into working at a boarding and daycare facility managing play groups and taking dogs for off leash hike. She got a taste for dog behavior and never stopped seeking more knowledge. Alyssa has worked within the shelter world for upwards of 5 years, educating the public, the volunteers and the staff on safe animal care, animal welfare and enrichment and basic training principles. She enjoys working with dogs as they transition into new families or work through fear and confidence issues. Alyssa is very familiar with behavior challenges like fear, reactivity and aggression.
