She offers classes, behavior modification services, workshops and academies for trainers at her Peaceable Paws 80-acre training facility in Fairplay, Maryland, and presents seminars worldwide. She has authored “The Power of Positive Dog Training,” “Positive Perspectives,” “Positive Perspectives 2,” “Play With Your Dog,” “Do-Over Dogs,” and “How to Foster Dogs,” and “Beware of the Dog,” and is training editor for The Whole Dog Journal. She shares her home with husband Paul, three dogs, five cats, three horses, four chickens and a pot-bellied pig. All training at Peaceable Paws is force-free.

Dog Grrl was started in 1997 by owner and operator Jenny Test. Dog Grrl thrived and grew into a doggie daycare space in San Francisco that offered small dog daycare, puppy socials with classes with Smarty Pup and a BnB style boarding facility in Healdsburg California. As the business grew so did the desire to help dogs overcome their fears and anxieties so Jenny went to the Academy for Dog Trainers offered at the SPCA and taught by Jean Donaldson. Khris Erickson is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), with over 20 years of experience. She has worked with countless dogs and their owners, helping them with manners training, behavior counseling, and separation anxiety. Khris is passionate about helping people and their dogs live together in harmony. She believes that well-trained dogs are happier dogs, and she enjoys helping people learn how to train their dogs to be well-behaved members of their families.

My name is Stephanie, and I am a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner with 14 years of experience working in the veterinary field. I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Biology from the University of California, Davis, accreditations in low-stress handling, Fear Free, and more. I love to learn and go to training, veterinary, and behavior conferences to stay up to date on the most current information on training methods, anxiety, and aggression. I specialize in helping pets with anxiety and aggression during vet visits, and I love teaching owners how to help their pets gain confidence in previously frightening environments.
