Greetings! I’m Samara. I have been working with animals professionally for over two decades. I am a certified trainer & behavior consultant. I am a SF SPCA certified private trainer. After 11 years of working at the SF SPCA I branched out full time on my own. I offer basic training, leash reactivity training, and have a lot of experience with puppies. I also provide pet sitting in your home as well as training while I stay with your dog or puppy.

I have been dog sitting & caring for pets for well over 30 years. We started our paid sitting in 2012 when our son wanted to pet sit to raise money for a school trip. I feel like our pets are more like children and are an expansion of our family. They deserve to showered with love, kindness & patience. I was raised in the country where we cared for a myriad of farm animals. I have worked with veterinarians assisting during surgery, medication administration and training. While I am not a paid professional trainer I have trained our last 3 dogs (2 Huskies and a Lab). I love the opportunity to meet new people and fur children and look forward to spending time with them throughout the day.

Let’s face it, Dogs Rule!I love dogs and love working with them. Dogs are pure joy! My goal is to give your dog the safest, most fun walk everyday with me. I strive to accomplish this and it is fun doing so. I am extremely vigilant about your dogs safety and am constantly striving towards educating myself on the best force free training methods in order to establish a loving relationship between myself and your canine companion. I train through gaining trust and build strong relationships with the dogs this way. I am not afraid to use treats and love. These are my tools. This means no shock, prong or choke chains or physical punishment. And lastly, we have sooo much fun!
