My name is Irith (pronounced "Ee-reet") and I'm a certified professional pet and people trainer. My job is to help people create an environment where their pet has lots of good options, and almost always makes the right choices. Pets who are empowered to make their own choices are happier and more relaxed. Pets who make the right choices are a pleasure to live with. I’m an expert in making that happen. We are a 501(c)(3) Non Profit utilizing Species Appropriate, Restorative, Animal Centered, Holistic Rescue & Training models. We are a welfare based organization. We want to revolutionize rescue in ways unimagined before. Be gone the days of warehousing and human convenience models. Usher in a new era of welfare and resilience. Rescue adoptions can become the Gold Standard of safe, optimistic, resilient, canine community members.

The thought of Courts Canines and Cats started in April 2022. in January 2023 I was laid off from my high tech job and decided to finally open up for business. I grew up with cats, dogs, horses, goats, ducks, birds and more! I have 3 dogs and a rescue cat. 2 of our dogs are Cavalier King Charles' and the other is a Lab/Retriever mix. My lab mix is my daughter's service dog. I went through a wonderful 2 week training where I lived up at Canine Companions in Santa Rosa. I lived, breathed and trained all things related to service dogs. I offer boarding, doggie daycare, dog walking and drop ins for fur babies. I give them a happy safe space with lots of love while you are away.

In 2011, Walkin’ the Dog SF opened for business in San Francisco to provide private walks on leash in clients’ neighborhoods. After many years of tackling hills, my knees have convinced me to change the focus of my business to assist clients who have dogs with separation anxiety. I am available to stay with dogs in their homes when their family members need to go to work, go to medical appointments, and/or take care of everyday responsibilities away from home. I pet sit for some clients on a fixed schedule, but I also have flexible hours.

have had many years of experience taking care of animals. I started taking care of animals at 15 years of age and have always had a passion for helping animals feel loved and cared for. My animal care experience included hamsters, birds, reptiles such as lizards, fish, rabbits, chickens, horses and especially dogs. I find joy in taking care of dogs and look foward to the opportunities! I have a yard for them to play in and will take them for walks as well. I have one small dog a Maltipoo who loves to cuddle. I also wanted to add that I am willing to take care of your other animals as such as rabbits, hamsters, lizards etc…😊

I started dog sitting after noticing a gap in the market. Daycares juggling numerous clients at can’t possibly cater to each dog’s unique needs. I commit to ONE dog at a time and providing individualized, structured care. Your dog will never be subjected to yelling, yanking, or punishing. I lead with compassion and gentleness - an approach they deserve. I provide care at my residence, offering 24/7 supervision for SA pups, exercise, and frequent photo updates. Currently, I watch dogs ~50lbs and under based on space limitations. Pit bull type dogs/mixes welcome.
