My goal is for you and your pup to have fun during the training process. Even though training is a commitment that takes effort and time, and sometimes we are working to address difficult challenges with our pups, I hope you look forward to our sessions. By educating you and applying positive reinforcement in working with you and your dog, I seek to foster lifelong trust, improved communication between you and your dog, and joy in your relationship together. I'm a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, and in the process of working towards my Control Unleashed Certification. I love continuing my education so I can be a better trainer for my clients and for my own dog!

Jan Marinelli is a Positive Reinforcement / Force Free dog trainer located in the Summerville, South Carolina region. Jan believes that her work is to help dogs and their humans communicate more clearly to each other for the enrichment of their lives together. Throughout this work, she offers support and encouragement to both canines and humans to learn new behaviors through healthy play, lots of praise, and practice. Jan has successfully completed Pat Miller's Level 1 training. She is also a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, and is an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen trainer and evaluator.

Alyssa got her start pet-sitting then moved into working at a boarding and daycare facility managing play groups and taking dogs for off leash hike. She got a taste for dog behavior and never stopped seeking more knowledge. Alyssa has worked within the shelter world for upwards of 5 years, educating the public, the volunteers and the staff on safe animal care, animal welfare and enrichment and basic training principles. She enjoys working with dogs as they transition into new families or work through fear and confidence issues. Alyssa is very familiar with behavior challenges like fear, reactivity and aggression.

Hi there! My name is Erik Grow and I've been a dog care professional since 2008, having first worked for other pet care businesses in Marin and San Francisco. I have owned and operated The Good Life Dog Care since 2012, with a sabbatical from 2019 to 2021. I put the safety of your pets above all other concerns, followed next by exercise and socialization. We do a mix of off-leash and on-leash walking so as to make sure all the dogs get enough exercise. It's important to know that your dog is having a good time, so I take pictures and videos during the walk to share on our Instagram page. Truth is I love dogs! Big, small, furry, bald, stinky or clean I love them all. I will cherish each as my own. I am just staring out and would love to start by walking them, then possible dog sitting in my home. I have owned a bulldog, and cocker spaniel in my life so far. I am pet free at the current time.
