I am a KPA CTP (Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner) and CCUI (Certified Control Unleashed Instructor). My training is centered on learner empowerment and consent. I train by playing games and creating patterns to give the dog a sense of predictability and to create a strong reinforcement history for handler interaction. Good Dog! Playcare offers daily playgroups in a private, handcrafted, 2800-square foot indoor-outdoor play space at the base of Bernal Hill. ​We are currently accepting dogs in the 20-50 lb weight range, and we only accept dogs who genuinely enjoy the company of dogs. Good Dog! Playcare offers a unique experience in daycare. We pick the dogs up at your home and take them to our place to play for 4 hours. By the time we drop them back off, they are out of the house for 5-6 hours.

Dog Grrl was started in 1997 by owner and operator Jenny Test. Dog Grrl thrived and grew into a doggie daycare space in San Francisco that offered small dog daycare, puppy socials with classes with Smarty Pup and a BnB style boarding facility in Healdsburg California. As the business grew so did the desire to help dogs overcome their fears and anxieties so Jenny went to the Academy for Dog Trainers offered at the SPCA and taught by Jean Donaldson.
