We are available from 6am - 10pm/365 Days a Year! We've been in business & established since August of 2023!

Hi there! Happy Scamper was started in 2013 with one goal in mind-- providing the highest quality care for pups and their humans. We have thousands of playgroup walks under our belts learning the in's and out's of dog behavior, safe handling, positive reinforcement training, dog park etiquette, and adorable picture taking! Our pups enjoy off leash walks in a beautiful private fenced acreage lot with occasional visits to Funston! As of 2019 my wife Vanessa officially joined Happy Scamper making us a family run business with 16 years combined experience. Hi I'm Jenn, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (Knowledge Assessed) with a background in Neurobiology, Physiology, Animal Behavior, and Veterinary Medicine- I was *almost* a doctor. Now I am a PetLife coach, teaching animals and people how to coexist harmoniously at home, in public, and especially at the vet's. When caregivers work together, animals win!

Many people are stressed out and struggling with their dog's behavior. I help them transform their relationship with their dogs through fun, games-based training, so they can joyfully share their life with a well-behaved dog.

We do dogwalks 5 times a week . All pets are screened for being safe with people and dogs during initial Phone and in person interview with dog and guardian. Our dogwalking service is at Fort funston in San Francisco, a magnificent park near the ocean. We also provide petsitting . We accept adult dogs ages 1 year and older Dogs for early morning and midday group walks available. Rates are $30- per walk. Join up now while we have spots available!

It brings us great joy to see them happily wagging their tails, living life to the fullest! We offer a variety of services: dog walking & hikes, private walks, kennel-free boarding, drop-in visits, cat care and house sitting. We practice safety, trail etiquette, and are committed to assuring your pet has a great time with his or her pack mates! Whatever the dog-venture we will bring you home a calm, happy, and relaxed best buddy!

Dogs love me, and I love them. I've had dogs my whole life. Whether it's for a walk or an extended stay, I will treat your dog as though they're my own. We take long walks and go to the park daily. At home, they can use the fenced yard while supervised, but typically they're too tired and just want to relax and sleep. There are dog beds, bowls, toys, and a small crate. To develop strong bonds with the dogs, form cohesive packs, and ensure they get plenty of exercise, we do not use a car. We explore San Francisco on foot as we visit the local off leash dog parks.
