Hi yall! I've been professionally walking dogs since 2017. After two years of working for another company I took the leap and started my own company in early 2019. I focus on giving dog owners happy, healthy and tired pups! I offer off leash, group hikes all over Redwood Regional Parks and across Oakland.

Professional dog walking, training, conditioning, and boarding business here in the SF Bay Area, for over 20 years. All positive based with decades of canine psychology and direction. No employees, licensed and insured, certified dog dog trainer, and loves psychology of canines and the lifestyle of conditioning dogs for the mental, physical, and emotional needs that our pet companions require. Most adventures are conducted at natural environments without the the drawbacks of leash confinement. Daily picture posts to FB and IG attest to the dog’s happiness, fulfillment, and success. Barking Buddhas is the A-Team off-leash dog hiking adventure pack in Piedmont & Montclair running the fastest, furthest, most-engaging hour-long walks on the most-intense trails. Dogs are young, high-energy, athletic breeds - Labs, Doodles, Pointers, and Herding dogs primarily. This is the professional athletes team - we run a tight ship, expect a lot from the dogs, and push the limits every single day.

Hi! I’m a positive reinforcement dog trainer! I am CPDT-KA certified as well as having 2 college degrees in canine science and assistance dog education (service dogs!). My passion is dog training and I’m able to help you and your dog work through behavioral issues like excessive barking, pulling on leash, recall. If you just got a puppy I absolutely adore teaching fundamental basic life skills, obedience, potty training and more! I am also able to do service dog and therapy dog training.

I offer pet care with a personal touch! For small dogs only. My services include private walks, group walks on and off-leash (since 2005), pet sitting in my home (since 1993), and cat visits.

I’ve been working with dogs as a hobby for over 20 years. I grew up training my first dog in both obedience and agility, and I currently have three rescue dogs of my own. I love dogs, cats, and critters of all kinds! Wondering about the name? Gambit was one of my former dogs who has since crossed the rainbow bridge. Whenever she was being naughty, I would jokingly say “dog Gambit!” to her.
