We offer Family Dog Mediation and handle all breeds and ages. We offer In-Home Training, Virtual Training, Dog Walking, and Drop-In Visits.

We cater to clients who want or need one-on-one support for their dogs because they are fearful, reactive, aggressive, or just need more attention in their care. ​My name is Chris Durrant, CPDT-KA. I am a Professional, Certificated Dog Trainer. I specialize in fear and reactivity in dogs. I truly enjoy solving companion dog behaviors and teaching people how to do so. I love and understand dogs on a deep level - how they learn and think, what makes them happy and attentive and what causes them to act out. Whether your dog pulls on leash, chews up the furniture, barks at other dogs or is fearful of things, I can help. My training techniques are designed to be fun, build confidence (for you and your dog), and change behaviors quickly and effectively. I take pride in offering force-free, scientifically proven methods. ​

Bay Area Doggie Adventures is a premium off-leash beach hike program for well-rounded dogs established in 1991 and under new management as of 2021. Pack leader Danny treats his pack members as his family and ensures the utmost safety, fun and socialization for your fur baby. Hikes take place along the San Francisco Coastline, all walkers are properly permitted, bonded and insured.

We are a 501(c)(3) Non Profit utilizing Species Appropriate, Restorative, Animal Centered, Holistic Rescue & Training models. We are a welfare based organization. We want to revolutionize rescue in ways unimagined before. Be gone the days of warehousing and human convenience models. Usher in a new era of welfare and resilience. I have loved animals all my life and feel a connection to dogs in particular. I have been training dogs professionally for 25 years and have been active in the rescue/shelter world for 30 years. I teach owners how to work with their dogs in a positive, fear-free environment and enhance the bond they have with their dog through consistent feedback and reinforcement. I work with dogs of all ages and breeds and have extensive knowledge with dogs that have behavioral concerns. On the flip side, I become the student when I attend workshops and seminars to learn new training methods. The field of animal behavior continues to evolve as well as our understanding of how animals learn.

Hang Around Hound is a multi-use dog care company. We offer boarding and daycare in an all day open play environment, as well as basic grooming. All of our staff are trained in positive reinforcement techniques and dog first aid. I have been in business since 2016 but have been working with dogs professionally in San Francisco since 2010.
