I was certified as a CPDT-KA and taught basic and intermediate skills in group classes for 17 years. Since the pandemic, I work with dog owners privately. I am a strong believer in the efficacy of positive reinforcement and continuously educate myself to strengthen my understanding of dog behavior. Truth is I love dogs! Big, small, furry, bald, stinky or clean I love them all. I will cherish each as my own. I am just staring out and would love to start by walking them, then possible dog sitting in my home. I have owned a bulldog, and cocker spaniel in my life so far. I am pet free at the current time. Hi! I’m a positive reinforcement dog trainer! I am CPDT-KA certified as well as having 2 college degrees in canine science and assistance dog education (service dogs!). My passion is dog training and I’m able to help you and your dog work through behavioral issues like excessive barking, pulling on leash, recall. If you just got a puppy I absolutely adore teaching fundamental basic life skills, obedience, potty training and more! I am also able to do service dog and therapy dog training.

I specialize in small breeds only! I am insured and my home has been inspected to foster by the ASPCA. That being said we provide a loving home environment for your family member. I have cared for many seniors and have extensive experience with special needs dogs. I provide enrichment activities such as snuffle mats, lick mats, frozen healthy treats, a tunnel, and backyard jumps. We are kennel free. I provide boarding and daycare and have about 100 repeat clients! So we have different dogs coming and going daily, although I keep the number of pups at 5. Dogs in my care must be social with other dogs and cannot have separation anxiety or obsessive behaviors.

In 2000, as the creator of Give a Dog a Bone, Corinne pioneered environmental enrichment for dogs in long term shelter care. In developing and managing her program, she gained invaluable experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, dogs with diverse behavior issues, and dogs who simply needed a leg up to rejoin their community. Using force free, science based training, Corinne wants to see your dog learn with enthusiasm and enjoyment. She does one-on-one training, coaching, socialization, behavior consults, and outings for those dogs who find their world challenging. Her skill set includes basic manners, foundation skills, reactivity, and shy/fearful dogs. She boards sm or sm/med dogs.

I have been dog sitting & caring for pets for well over 30 years. We started our paid sitting in 2012 when our son wanted to pet sit to raise money for a school trip. I feel like our pets are more like children and are an expansion of our family. They deserve to showered with love, kindness & patience. I was raised in the country where we cared for a myriad of farm animals. I have worked with veterinarians assisting during surgery, medication administration and training. While I am not a paid professional trainer I have trained our last 3 dogs (2 Huskies and a Lab). I love the opportunity to meet new people and fur children and look forward to spending time with them throughout the day.
