Runaround Hound Dog Walking Service provides top quality Dog Walking and Pet Service throughout the San Francisco, CA area. We are currently looking to fill up our pack for afternoon walks. Runaround Hound is ACC trained through Four Legged Fitness Mentorship and Training Program. Also licensed, experienced, Pet First Aid Certified by the American Red Cross and insured by Pet Sitters Associates, LLC up to $1,000,000. Our primary concern is your dog's happiness and safety. Daily walks are over an hour long and designed with your dog in mind. On each walk, positive reinforcement techniques are used to strengthen basic training. All groups enjoy lots of exercise and fun in a safe environment.

I have been an in-home trainer of dogs and puppies in the Greater Baltimore area for 29 years. I cover all aspects of training including pet selection, family dog manners, behavioral issues like aggression and separation anxiety, as well as beginning sports training in obedience, rally, conformation handling, tricks, and agility. I use science-based reward training.

At C&S, we know that all animals are individuals and each of them are unique and special to us. We tailor our services to suite you and your furry companions. A graduate of the Dog Training Internship Academy - a comprehensive program that provided me with a thorough understanding of animal behavior & learning and focused on the use of science-based training techniques to change both a dog's behavior and a dog's underlying emotional state that may be driving undesirable behavior. I'm also certified by The Certification Council of Pet Dog Trainers. This requires that I have a minimum of 300 hours of experience; references from a veterinarian, client, and colleague(s); and have passed a comprehensive examination testing my knowledge of learning theory, canine ethology, animal husbandry, classroom management, and teaching techniques.

We offer Dogwalking, Boarding, Doggy Daycare, Cat Care, Housesitting, Pet Transport and petsitting. We also assist with bringing your dog to your wedding for photos. We’re experienced and insured. We also have a small friendly dog of our own. We have excellent references.

As an IAABC certified dog behavior consultant, I work primarily with families struggling with aggression, reactivity, phobias, compulsive behaviors, and my specialty - fear & anxiety. I work with clients in person in Central Contra Costa county, and virtually nationwide (and occasionally internationally). I also run an online group training program for shy and fearful dogs, Confidence Builders Academy.

I’m an animal lover with hands-on experience raising puppies and walking both small and large dogs. I understand the different needs and energy levels of each dog and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness during every walk.
