Hello! My name is Paul and my dog walking business, The Perfect Pooch, is an owner operated dog walking business established in 2002. I offer force-free group outings to the Walter Hass Dog Park which is an enclosed dog park located in Diamond Heights. I currently have two groups, one in the late morning and one in the afternoon. The main focus of my dog walking business is to make sure that all my clients dogs experience fun & safe playtime each day. I provide equal attention to all of my clients dogs and make sure that they are well taken care of as if they were my own personal dogs. In 2022, I started this company to help heal the void I had in my heart after losing my precious fur baby Mia. At that time I was not ready to bring another dog into my life and caring for animals has really helped fill that empty space in my heart. Seeing my furry friend clients happy brings me so much joy and this truly is my passion. I know what it’s like to worry about your pet when you can’t be with them and I want to provide a peace of mind with responsible and loving care for your pet while you are away from them,.

Se habla Espanol! We are experienced and fully insured Dog Walkers/Pet Sitters, in business since 2017. We are proud parents to a senior American Pitbull Terrier, a senior Black and Tan Coonhound, two guinea pigs, a Three Toed Box turtle, and lots of fish. We are all animals all the time here, and we wouldn't have it any other way! We provide dog walking and drop in visits from 9:00am until 8:00pm, 7 days per week. We do NOT offer overnight sitting or boarding in our home at this time. We are happy to provide references upon request. We accept payment via credit card, Venmo, Zelle, check, or cash. We offer a variety of options for your puppy or dog including puppy socials overseen by certified trainers, puppy kindergarten, basic & intermediate manners classes, workshops, and private one-on-one training sessions in and outside the shop.

We look for consistent, reliable, long-term pack members, who are eager to have fun/exercise and go on daily adventures with their “second” family:) we offer off-leash pack hikes/walks, as well as daycare. Learning is FUN! I am a certified dog behavior consultant and certified dog trainer in obedeince, nosework and tricks. I am also a Service Dog Coach. I believe in science-based and positive reward-based training methods that create a fun learning environment for both humans and dogs. When you are having fun, whatever you do becomes rewarding and makes you want to do more of it. Through fun learning experiences, desirable behaviors are retained and repeated. My specialty is in working with anxious, fear-aggressive dogs and dogs with reactivity issuees. K9 Learning is based in Novato, CA and currently offers both in-person (in Marin) and virtual training (outside of Marin) sessions.

Jodi Cassell, CBCC-KA, CTC, FFCP Certified Canine Behavior Consultant (CBCC-KA) and Dog Trainer (CTC). Positive Reinforcement, force free practioner (Fear Free Certified). I specialize in working with dogs with behavior issues, like fear, aggression, and anxiety, but I'm happy to work with any dog. Currently I offer private in-home and in person training as well as remote online training. My goal is to help you and your dog live a happier life together. My training methods are fun and effective and I enjoy working with both dogs and people!
