She has worked with countless dogs and their owners, helping them with manners training, behavior counseling, and separation anxiety. Khris is passionate about helping people and their dogs live together in harmony. She believes that well-trained dogs are happier dogs, and she enjoys helping people learn how to train their dogs to be well-behaved members of their families.

Hi! I'm Aimee, the dog trainer and owner/operator behind It's a Dog's World SF Dog Training. I started as a group dog walking business in 2007. In 2009, I became a certified dog trainer after graduating with honors from The Academy for Dog Trainers at the SF SPCA, taught by the world-renowned Jean Donaldson. Since then, I have been working and helping dogs and their humans for thousands and thousands and thousands of hours. Having trained in San Francisco for so long also means that I know and understand this market. I have been an in-home trainer of dogs and puppies in the Greater Baltimore area for 29 years. My name is Stephanie, and I am a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner with 14 years of experience working in the veterinary field. I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Biology from the University of California, Davis, accreditations in low-stress handling, Fear Free, and more. I love to learn and go to training, veterinary, and behavior conferences to stay up to date on the most current information on training methods, anxiety, and aggression. I specialize in helping pets with anxiety and aggression during vet visits, and I love teaching owners how to help their pets gain confidence in previously frightening environments.

I always use Positive Reinforcement and Rewards-Based methods in all my training. Behavior Modification is always done using scientifically proven methods to modify, reshape or extinguish the unwanted behavior. I believe in being patient, compassionate, helping the dog to reshape its behavior at a comfortable pace for the dog, and doing it with confidence. That is where training you - the person - to train your dog, comes into my training philosophy.

We recently moved from VT back to SF (was using the DBA Ruff Riders K9 Adventures in SF from 2002-2021). We offer private training, day training, solo walks and sub group dog walking, group training classes.
