Kate Johnson is a professional Dog Trainer with a very simple philosophy. Positive reinforcement, science based training and behavior solutions strengthen your relationship with your dog and develop a more confident, happy and well-behaved pup. We offer convenient, custom, in-home training. All animals involved in the process experience the benefits, including the humans!

In 2000, as the creator of Give a Dog a Bone, Corinne pioneered environmental enrichment for dogs in long term shelter care. In developing and managing her program, she gained invaluable experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, dogs with diverse behavior issues, and dogs who simply needed a leg up to rejoin their community. Using force free, science based training, Corinne wants to see your dog learn with enthusiasm and enjoyment. She does one-on-one training, coaching, socialization, behavior consults, and outings for those dogs who find their world challenging. Her skill set includes basic manners, foundation skills, reactivity, and shy/fearful dogs. She boards sm or sm/med dogs.

My goal is to help you and your dog achieve your training goals and build a strong, healthy relationship in the process. Our mission is to help you enjoy a great relationship with your family dog, by investing in early puppy training & socialization through our Puppy Training Camp program. We also offer loving in-home dog boarding on our 3-acre property centrally located in Placerville, California.

Hello, my name is Kat and I have experienced in taking care of dogs for over 20 years. I currently have a Great Pyrenees whom I rescued 6yrs ago. He’s great with all dogs. Your fur baby will be in great paws with me. They will get 3 walks a day and plenty of exercises under my care. I will treat them just like they’re my own pup..

I offer pet care with a personal touch! For small dogs only. My services include private walks, group walks on and off-leash (since 2005), pet sitting in my home (since 1993), and cat visits.
