I train by playing games and creating patterns to give the dog a sense of predictability and to create a strong reinforcement history for handler interaction. Hello, I'm Lisa, a CPDT (Certified Professional Dog Trainer). I worked for a decade in humane societies. I train via my own business. In the past, I've worked as a trainer at Wag Hotel (classes), Zoom Room (classes and private training) and most recently Peninsula Humane Society (classes and behavior consults). I use positive methods. I have been working with dogs since 2016. In 2017 I started a dog walking and pet sitting business and my passion to help families with their fearful and aggressive dogs grew. In 2018 I attended Karen Pryor Academy for Professional Behavior and Training graduating with distinction. My personal dogs have had training challenges that allows me to be empathetic and help personalize my training plans for my clients. I continue to study, take classes, and collaborate with fellow trainers to make sure my clients get specialized training plans to suit their unique needs.

I only board dogs that are enrolled in my daily group walks. I walk dogs of all shapes and sizes even though my profile says I only walk small dogs. I don't know how that happened or how to change it.

Hi! I am a positive reinforcement, fear-free certified trainer (CPDT-KA, FFCP). I started on this journey years ago by volunteering at an animal shelter. Here at Doggiewalks, we aim to reduce the huge gap in pet care services for people who lead extremely busy lives in the Bay Area. Our mission is to provide professional in-home pet services by using our staff who are knowledgeable , ethical,reliable and , of course , love your furry friends as much as you do! Instead of constantly switching up the walkers like other companies, Doggiewalks strives to create long-lasting,personal relationships between dogs and their walkers to maximize their self -growth and ensure their individual needs are being met. By assigning each dog the same walker for every walk., we see happier dogs, happier walkers and happier clients.

Doggie walks/playtime are an hour long. He or she will be picked up at their home, safely driven in a ACC inspected automobile to play area or dog park and get to run, play ball and frolic with their new friends. All of this usually takes 2-3 hours or so. Family member is returned home safe, sound and happily exhausted with tails wagging.
