I grew up living with and loving dogs. When my kids were young I hired dog walkers and was always curious about the job. In 2013, we got our dog Lily and I became and licensed dog walker and started A Walk in the Park. Since then I've done group walks at Fort Funston, Bernal Hill, Stern Grove and McLaren Park. I also do doggie daycare and boarding in my home in Noe Valley. I love spending my days outside with dogs and feel very grateful to do this work.

I have loved animals all my life and feel a connection to dogs in particular. I have been training dogs professionally for 25 years and have been active in the rescue/shelter world for 30 years. I teach owners how to work with their dogs in a positive, fear-free environment and enhance the bond they have with their dog through consistent feedback and reinforcement. I work with dogs of all ages and breeds and have extensive knowledge with dogs that have behavioral concerns. On the flip side, I become the student when I attend workshops and seminars to learn new training methods. The field of animal behavior continues to evolve as well as our understanding of how animals learn.

My goal is to help you and your dog achieve your training goals and build a strong, healthy relationship in the process. Dog walk groups and pet sitting for small and social dogs only within our route: dog patch/Potrero Hill/Bernal Hill/Glen Park/southern Mission/Noe Valley/northern Bay View and Portola. We are leash and force free.
