We want to revolutionize rescue in ways unimagined before. Be gone the days of warehousing and human convenience models. Usher in a new era of welfare and resilience. 'Tender Loving Care when you can't be there' Professional and loving pet care. Services include individual dog walks and in-home pet sitting customized to meet your needs. I have over 15 years professional experience, extensive behavioral training and skills, and am fully insured and certified in Pet First Aid/CPR from the American Red Cross. For me, my work is my passion. I love what I do and put my heart and soul into it. I've been told by my clients that I "am the most dependable person they know", "how much their pets adore me", and that they consider me part of their family. .

Se habla Espanol! We are experienced and fully insured Dog Walkers/Pet Sitters, in business since 2017. We are proud parents to a senior American Pitbull Terrier, a senior Black and Tan Coonhound, two guinea pigs, a Three Toed Box turtle, and lots of fish. We are all animals all the time here, and we wouldn't have it any other way! We provide dog walking and drop in visits from 9:00am until 8:00pm, 7 days per week. We do NOT offer overnight sitting or boarding in our home at this time. We are happy to provide references upon request. We accept payment via credit card, Venmo, Zelle, check, or cash. Dog Grrl was started in 1997 by owner and operator Jenny Test. Dog Grrl thrived and grew into a doggie daycare space in San Francisco that offered small dog daycare, puppy socials with classes with Smarty Pup and a BnB style boarding facility in Healdsburg California. As the business grew so did the desire to help dogs overcome their fears and anxieties so Jenny went to the Academy for Dog Trainers offered at the SPCA and taught by Jean Donaldson. Newman's Dog Training, Walking and Pet Sitting has been serving the Kansas City Metro since 2011. Owner, Jena Newman, is a former zookeeper who trained exotics like elephants, sea lions, gorillas and more. After her time at the KC Zoo she decided to take her training into dog clients homes and created NDT. We specialize in private dog training and online classes only using positive reinforcement methods. We also offer dog walking and pet sitting in Kansas City.

I have loved animals all my life and feel a connection to dogs in particular. I have been training dogs professionally for 25 years and have been active in the rescue/shelter world for 30 years. I teach owners how to work with their dogs in a positive, fear-free environment and enhance the bond they have with their dog through consistent feedback and reinforcement. I work with dogs of all ages and breeds and have extensive knowledge with dogs that have behavioral concerns. On the flip side, I become the student when I attend workshops and seminars to learn new training methods. The field of animal behavior continues to evolve as well as our understanding of how animals learn.
