I have been a professional dog trainer in NYC for 15 years. As a child, I participated in dog agility and showmanship through 4-H and won several local and state competitions. I began my path to become a trainer by receiving a certification from the vocational school, Animal Behavioral College. When I began to hit a wall in my self-education four years ago, I enrolled in CUNY's Psychology program, and will be graduating May, 2025 with honors with an interdisciplinary BA in Animal Psychology and Creative Writing. I am currently volunteering as a Research Assistant for the Center for Canine Behavioral Studies, as well as assisting in a lab at Hunter studying Pandas. I am also a PPG member.

Modern Hound is owned and operated by Shoshi Parks, Ph.D., CPDT-ka, CSAT. Shoshi is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). She completed the San Francisco SPCA's Dog Training Internship Program and Public Teaching Internship and is certified by the Canine Behavior Academy of the Marin Humane Society. In addition to her private dog training, Shoshi taught for several years at the San Francisco SPCA and continues to teach at other locations around the city. Shoshi also works with high-risk dogs adopted from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley.

Orlando Dog Training, LLC is a force-free positive training company dedicated to enhancing the lives of dog owners. Led by certified dog trainer Todd Campbell CPDT-KA, SDC service dog coach, I offer private lessons to teach you how to train your dog effectively. Top Dog SF is a local dog walking and reward-based training company established in 2004. We offer three main services: Puppy Head Start Program, Small Dog PlayCare, and Daily Off-leash Adventure Outings to our private dog ranch in Montara. Our headquarters for puppy school, small dog play, and socials is at the Parkside at 2121 Taraval St. Top Dog SF also offers an online Dog Walker Certification Program focusing on positive reinforcement methods.

I specialize in small breeds only! I am insured and my home has been inspected to foster by the ASPCA. That being said we provide a loving home environment for your family member. I have cared for many seniors and have extensive experience with special needs dogs. I provide enrichment activities such as snuffle mats, lick mats, frozen healthy treats, a tunnel, and backyard jumps. We are kennel free. I provide boarding and daycare and have about 100 repeat clients! So we have different dogs coming and going daily, although I keep the number of pups at 5. Dogs in my care must be social with other dogs and cannot have separation anxiety or obsessive behaviors.

With over eight years of experience, I provide professional R+ dog training and dog walking services. Hi, Everyone! My 30 year background in Public Health, Mental/Behavioral Health and trauma-informed practice supports and informs my animal communication practice and healing work with animals. I am trained in 18 different different healing modalities, as well as animal communication. I specialize in nervous/anxious/fearful animals and can support your dog on the physical, emotional and behavioral levels. My animal communication skills allow me to speak with your dog, find out what is up and identify methods to support them. I also speak with animals who have crossed over. It provides tremendous peace to my clients. I excel at what I do and I love my work!

Constant Companion, LLC was born in 2006. It is the culmination of several years of dreaming it, developing it, and seeing it to fruition. I am a lifetime dog guardian and dog lover. I currently share my home with my husband, 5 shelter dogs, 30 chickens, and 3 sheep. I have experience with all creatures great and small. I have a 30 year career in pharmacy, 8 years experience as a veterinary technician, and a lifetime of caring for animals. I've worked with shelter dogs for 12 years and have experience with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I am also a Peaceable Paws Affiliate and will complete my PMCT (Pat Miller Certified Trainer) credential in 2022.
