Personally have two big goofballs Nighthawk (9 years, lab mix), and Dragon (1 year lab/golden/pyrenese mix). I started working in the pet care industry after I took in my grandfather's dog, Roxie. I worked in a small local pet shop, Sunset Pet Supply from 2014 - 2016. I learned all about animal nutrition and wellness. Then I moved into a dog walking position 2017 - 2018. I loved the dog walking so much, I decided to move on and start my own business. I wanted to be able to do more work to help the dogs and their pawrents!

I can solve most common behavior problems or obedience issues, or start out your new dog or puppy on the right paw. Hello! My name is Paul and my dog walking business, The Perfect Pooch, is an owner operated dog walking business established in 2002. I offer force-free group outings to the Walter Hass Dog Park which is an enclosed dog park located in Diamond Heights. I currently have two groups, one in the late morning and one in the afternoon. The main focus of my dog walking business is to make sure that all my clients dogs experience fun & safe playtime each day. I provide equal attention to all of my clients dogs and make sure that they are well taken care of as if they were my own personal dogs. My business is also listed on Yelp where I have many 5 star reviews!

In 2000, as the creator of Give a Dog a Bone, Corinne pioneered environmental enrichment for dogs in long term shelter care. In developing and managing her program, she gained invaluable experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, dogs with diverse behavior issues, and dogs who simply needed a leg up to rejoin their community. Using force free, science based training, Corinne wants to see your dog learn with enthusiasm and enjoyment. She does one-on-one training, coaching, socialization, behavior consults, and outings for those dogs who find their world challenging. Her skill set includes basic manners, foundation skills, reactivity, and shy/fearful dogs. She boards sm or sm/med dogs.

Our mission is to help you enjoy a great relationship with your family dog, by investing in early puppy training & socialization through our Puppy Training Camp program. We also offer loving in-home dog boarding on our 3-acre property centrally located in Placerville, California.
