Dogs love me, and I love them. I've had dogs my whole life. Whether it's for a walk or an extended stay, I will treat your dog as though they're my own. We take long walks and go to the park daily. At home, they can use the fenced yard while supervised, but typically they're too tired and just want to relax and sleep. There are dog beds, bowls, toys, and a small crate. To develop strong bonds with the dogs, form cohesive packs, and ensure they get plenty of exercise, we do not use a car. We explore San Francisco on foot as we visit the local off leash dog parks. The Life of Kai is a 501-c3. Our vision is to have fewer displaced dogs in the shelters and more pets in the homes. We hope to reach our goal through several programs. Humane education teaches empathy to build a kinder and compassionate generation. Training and dog behavior books based on science are available to the public with free and easy access. Coaching new adopters and guardians and teaching pet dogs to co-exist through better understanding of canine behaviors. Working pro-bono with rescues and fosters to make rescued dogs more adoptable and supporting a foster-centric community by creating a foster registry.

I have taken care of dogs, cats, fish, birds, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and reptiles. To say I love all animals is an understatement. I also do regular house sitting offering plant care as well as babysitting for all ages. Willing to travel with you for your pet or child sitting needs. I pet sit full time so I'm available for all your pets' needs. With prior consent, I'm happy to take your dog to a park of your choice. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

Steph trains everyone to meet dogs where they are! She utilizes force free techniques, whether dogs need a little extra help feeling safe, learning how to play with other dogs, learning how to trust people, or just plain making sure they get their exercise while they are out and about (and coming back when called!) She strives to help people learn how to understand their dog while cutting down on undesirable behaviors. Steph has a particular soft spot for all guard dog breeds, from shepherds to bullies, and especially enjoys working with them. I started dog sitting after noticing a gap in the market. Daycares juggling numerous clients at can’t possibly cater to each dog’s unique needs. I commit to ONE dog at a time and providing individualized, structured care. Your dog will never be subjected to yelling, yanking, or punishing. I lead with compassion and gentleness - an approach they deserve. I provide care at my residence, offering 24/7 supervision for SA pups, exercise, and frequent photo updates.
