Polite Pooches offers group classes and private training sessions utilizing positive reinforcement, force free methods only. We offer puppy classes through advanced manners. All private sessions & group classes are held at our safe, quiet, clean training center in Forest Hill, MD. All of our trainers have achieved at least their CPDT-KA certification. We teach using humane methods, and go at a pace each dog is comfortable with.

Leo has worked professionally with dogs for over 20 years, primarily in shelters where pups are understandably stressed and in need of targeted behavioral support. They are an Academy for Dog Trainers honors graduate (CTC) and a CPDT-KA. They offer VIP boarding in their purpose-built home environment for dogs who struggle to fit into traditional pet-sitting and kenneling environments, as well as board and train programs for puppies, teens and adult dogs to help them and their people build foundations that will benefit them in various facets of their lives. Lynda Mortensen, the owner of Bay Area Pet Pals, has been a small business owner for over 26 years. Her love of animals has remained with her throughout her childhood and prompted her to learn various pet care techniques and how to administer pet first aid. Lynda has opened her heart to adopt many pets over the years and she loves helping other pet owners care for their own pets. She trains each Pet Pal employee to follow specific guidelines. You will never have to worry about re-schedules due to sickness or vacations – there is always an equally trained Pet Pal available to ensure that every appointment and pet visit is covered.
