Woof Wisdom is an online, support based, dog training service. Compassion and education are the foundation for the work we do. We support guardians and their dogs world wide to live their best lives.

Founded by Leah Mendonca, a Certified Fear Free Professional with Pet First Aid certification, Monterey Dog helps you and your companions live your best lives together. Services include: one-on-one dog walking and hikes, in-home or hotel pet sitting, overnight pet sitting, curated pet adventures, and wedding pet attendant services.

I started working in the pet care industry after I took in my grandfather's dog, Roxie. I worked in a small local pet shop, Sunset Pet Supply from 2014 - 2016. I learned all about animal nutrition and wellness. Then I moved into a dog walking position 2017 - 2018. I loved the dog walking so much, I decided to move on and start my own business. I wanted to be able to do more work to help the dogs and their pawrents!

Bernal Beast has been a mainstay in Bernal Heights for over 30 years, offering natural, organic, raw pet foods to the neighborhood and beyond. Since 2020, we’ve run positive reinforcement training classes for your newly-adopted puppies and dogs. All of our trainers are graduates of the acclaimed Academy for Dog Trainers, a rigorous academic program that educates trainers in evidence-based dog behavior, training, and private behavior counseling. We offer a variety of options for your puppy or dog including puppy socials overseen by certified trainers, puppy kindergarten, basic & intermediate manners classes, workshops, and private one-on-one training sessions in and outside the shop.

Hi, Everyone! My 30 year background in Public Health, Mental/Behavioral Health and trauma-informed practice supports and informs my animal communication practice and healing work with animals. I am trained in 18 different different healing modalities, as well as animal communication. I specialize in nervous/anxious/fearful animals and can support your dog on the physical, emotional and behavioral levels. My animal communication skills allow me to speak with your dog, find out what is up and identify methods to support them. I also speak with animals who have crossed over. It provides tremendous peace to my clients. I excel at what I do and I love my work!

Hello, I'm Josefina. I can also be reached at @sitdoggy23, where I post my IG and boarding/walking adventures. Prior to dog sitting, my pet care experience includes fostering rescues with Wonder Dog Rescue, Grateful Dogs Rescue and the SF/SPCA shelter. I also have experience as a volunteer dog walker at the SF/SPCA. I have experience working with dogs with a wide range of issues including: seniors, dogs with medical issues, including trauma and abuse/neglect. I have a special love for my work with fostering rescues, as well as walking shelter dogs. It’s an honor to have helped save the lives of many dogs. I currently work from home, have two children and prefer crate-trained dogs.

SF RUFF RUN focuses on maintaining a pack that has routine and trust! We look for consistent, reliable, long-term pack members, who are eager to have fun/exercise and go on daily adventures with their “second” family:) we offer off-leash pack hikes/walks, as well as daycare. Hello! I have been servicing San Francisco since 2003. I am an R+ walker and I am certified in dog CPR and first aid. I do small groups- no more than 6 at a time-usually less. I do on leash walking only. I offer group walks and time permitting, solo walks. I also do drop-in visits for cats and dogs .I specialize in seniors, with a group dedicated to them so we can go at their pace. I take dogs that are 40 lbs and under, they must know basic commands, and how to walk properly on leash.

In 2011, Walkin’ the Dog SF opened for business in San Francisco to provide private walks on leash in clients’ neighborhoods. After many years of tackling hills, my knees have convinced me to change the focus of my business to assist clients who have dogs with separation anxiety. I am available to stay with dogs in their homes when their family members need to go to work, go to medical appointments, and/or take care of everyday responsibilities away from home. I pet sit for some clients on a fixed schedule, but I also have flexible hours.
