Great Companions offers force-free, positive reinforcement training, mostly using the clicker, to help people and their dogs develop great communication skills and trust. In addition to private lessons, Great Companions offers classes in Puppy Manners, Foundations, Advanced Manners, Canine Good Citizen, Rally, Agility, Scent Work, Reactive Dog Class, Tricks, Treiball, Confidence Building, Parkour, and other specialty classes. Class size is small to maximize individual attention.

I am Gigi, founder of ~mascotas~ Dog walking and Pet sitting services with over five years of experience taking care of pets. We are helping San Francisco’s pet owners whose dog/cat struggle with leash reactivity, social anxiety, fear, shyness, are seniors, and/or sick. We tailor each pet’s plan to their unique needs to minimize their triggers. Our approach is patience, building trust with your pet, providing a safe environment, positive reinforcement, and lots of love. By focusing on individualized care plans and solo dog walking ~mascotas~ has been able to put all our years of experience and pet shelter volunteering to good use. Hi! I'm Lorelei, the trainer behind BarkSmart Dog Training. I've always loved animals and have spent years learning about animal behavior and training. I completed two years of animal behavior coursework and have hands-on experience training dogs and other animals. My approach is positive, reward-based, and focused on understanding the individual dog rather than using a one-size-fits-all method. I work with puppies and adult dogs on obedience, leash skills, socialization, confidence, fear/anxiety, and mild reactivity. My goal is to help dogs succeed while giving their people practical tools they can use every day.

In 2011, Walkin’ the Dog SF opened for business in San Francisco to provide private walks on leash in clients’ neighborhoods. After many years of tackling hills, my knees have convinced me to change the focus of my business to assist clients who have dogs with separation anxiety. I am available to stay with dogs in their homes when their family members need to go to work, go to medical appointments, and/or take care of everyday responsibilities away from home. I pet sit for some clients on a fixed schedule, but I also have flexible hours.

Dogs love me, and I love them. I've had dogs my whole life. Whether it's for a walk or an extended stay, I will treat your dog as though they're my own. We take long walks and go to the park daily. At home, they can use the fenced yard while supervised, but typically they're too tired and just want to relax and sleep. There are dog beds, bowls, toys, and a small crate. To develop strong bonds with the dogs, form cohesive packs, and ensure they get plenty of exercise, we do not use a car. We explore San Francisco on foot as we visit the local off leash dog parks. Ren is a professional dog trainer and behavior consultant, specializing in dog reactivity, fearful dogs, puppies, and separation anxiety. She is a Certified Behavior Consultant Canine Knowledge Assessed (CBCC-KA), a Certified Fear Free Professional., and a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT). We have fostered over 150 dogs of all sizes, ages, and breeds, offering behavior modification for rescue dogs that need help in order to become adoptable. Lifelong dog lovers, we've been boarding dogs in our home since 2004. References available upon request.

My business started in 2013 in Cole Valley but I also offer my services in the surroundings areas. I have excellent references and I can provide them upon request. My walks consist of small groups (usually three dogs at a time) with different schedules according to what it is requested. We go for a 60-minute walk after each dog is picked up. This gives them time to do their business, exercise and socialize with other dogs.
