I started dogsitting over 20 years ago and became a professional dogwalker when I moved to San Francisco in 2013. I opened Skalliwags Pet Care in 2015 and it's been pure joy getting paid for what I love to do! I do 2 group walks/beach hikes a day that our minimum 60 min each. Groups are on the smaller side to create an ideal environment for exercise and facilitated socialization. I accept dogs in Oakland in neighborhoods near Lake Merritt for Daycare Only

Nancy started taking dogs to the beach and on day hikes when she and husband Pearce moved from Skylonda to Menlo Park. With degrees in Psychology, Parent Education and Early Childhood Education Nancy is capable of using learning theory as is applies to humans as well as dogs. Trained in Behavioral Psychology and professional dog pack management, Nancy is also certified in Pet CPR and First Aid and is a graduate of DogBiz Professional dog walking.

We are a San Francisco-based dog walking service. We'll take your dog on trail hikes in nature, allow them the opportunity to socialize with a familiar pack, and participate in enrichment activities that will help make for a holistically happy and healthy hound. Hello, I'm Josefina. I can also be reached at @sitdoggy23, where I post my IG and boarding/walking adventures. Prior to dog sitting, my pet care experience includes fostering rescues with Wonder Dog Rescue, Grateful Dogs Rescue and the SF/SPCA shelter. I also have experience as a volunteer dog walker at the SF/SPCA. I have experience working with dogs with a wide range of issues including: seniors, dogs with medical issues, including trauma and abuse/neglect. I have a special love for my work with fostering rescues, as well as walking shelter dogs. It’s an honor to have helped save the lives of many dogs. I currently work from home, have two children and prefer crate-trained dogs.
