I'm Lauri Green (they/them), a dog trainer passionate about positive reinforcement and animal liberation. In 2018, adopting my dog led me to become a full-time trainer. My approach is fun, reward-based, specializing in clicker training, confidence-building for shy/rescue dogs, socialization, and off-leash skills. As an animal liberation activist and vegan, my work is driven by deep empathy for animals. I find nothing more rewarding than helping dogs thrive. have had many years of experience taking care of animals. I started taking care of animals at 15 years of age and have always had a passion for helping animals feel loved and cared for. My animal care experience included hamsters, birds, reptiles such as lizards, fish, rabbits, chickens, horses and especially dogs. I find joy in taking care of dogs and look foward to the opportunities! I have a yard for them to play in and will take them for walks as well. I have one small dog a Maltipoo who loves to cuddle. Cheryl specializes in successful puppy raising, but also helps guardians with other dog behavior challenges. She offers in-person and virtual private sessions as well as small group classes and Puppy Day School. Cheryl attended the Academy for Dog Trainers in 2002 and have been professionally teaching dogs and their humans ever since.
