Constant Companion, LLC was born in 2006. It is the culmination of several years of dreaming it, developing it, and seeing it to fruition. I am a lifetime dog guardian and dog lover. I currently share my home with my husband, 5 shelter dogs, 30 chickens, and 3 sheep. I have experience with all creatures great and small. I have a 30 year career in pharmacy, 8 years experience as a veterinary technician, and a lifetime of caring for animals. I've worked with shelter dogs for 12 years and have experience with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I am also a Peaceable Paws Affiliate and will complete my PMCT (Pat Miller Certified Trainer) credential in 2022.

Our focus is one on one care for dogs (and cats) that may struggle with traditional care settings and group care environments. Whether a dog is shy, fearful, reactive, anxious, aggressive, or perhaps just intact or a senior that has become selective; many dogs find group daycares, group walks, and traditional boarding environments stressful, or aren't able to go - so we are here to help! Learning is FUN! I am a certified dog behavior consultant and certified dog trainer in obedeince, nosework and tricks. I am also a Service Dog Coach. I believe in science-based and positive reward-based training methods that create a fun learning environment for both humans and dogs. When you are having fun, whatever you do becomes rewarding and makes you want to do more of it. Through fun learning experiences, desirable behaviors are retained and repeated. My specialty is in working with anxious, fear-aggressive dogs and dogs with reactivity issuees. K9 Learning is based in Novato, CA and currently offers both in-person (in Marin) and virtual training (outside of Marin) sessions.

What started as a call to action and doing right by the furry friends in my life, this business was birthed from the trust and encouragement of my friends who had dogs and needed support. Fourteen years later, my team and I are ever grateful to have supported hundreds of pet owners, and made some life long friendships along the way. From Daycare support seven days a week, and Boarding overnight three hundred and sixty five a year, my passionate team is ready to support with your requested needs. Hello, I'm Lisa, a CPDT (Certified Professional Dog Trainer). I worked for a decade in humane societies. I train via my own business. In the past, I've worked as a trainer at Wag Hotel (classes), Zoom Room (classes and private training) and most recently Peninsula Humane Society (classes and behavior consults). I use positive methods. Hi everyone! My name is Naomi Roxas I've been a dog walker in San Francisco for the last 5 years. I started out working for a dog walking company the first 4 years and in February of 2019 I decided so start my own dog walking coverage business! With my previous company it was always stressful to ask for time off and I found that to be the case for other business owners as well. As a graduate in Psychology from SF State, I find taking time off for self care to be very important and I feel as though that is something many walkers have not had the opportunity to enjoy.
