As a force free professional, I apply the same level of gentle, effective care to educating humans as I do to training their dogs. My dog training education (Turid Rugaas, Karen Pryor, Aggressive Dog, Treat/Retreat and many ongoing trainings) and my Masters in Social Work combine to give me a unique perspective on enhancing your relationship with your dog while getting you the changes in their behavior you need.

I started Rad Rover because I want to help those who want to do better for their dogs who wouldn't otherwise have access to this kind of support. Compassion for people wanting to do better for their dogs is just as important as compassion for our animals. Using trauma informed care strategies that I previously learned and used while working in nonprofit housing, I aim to help educate and build relationships with people about their dogs needs. Unlike a lot of local walkers, we are breed inclusive and understand that people are products of their situations and context. We are a 501(c)(3) Non Profit utilizing Species Appropriate, Restorative, Animal Centered, Holistic Rescue & Training models. We are a welfare based organization. We want to revolutionize rescue in ways unimagined before. Be gone the days of warehousing and human convenience models. Usher in a new era of welfare and resilience. Rescue adoptions can become the Gold Standard of safe, optimistic, resilient, canine community members.

I have been an in-home trainer of dogs and puppies in the Greater Baltimore area for 29 years. I cover all aspects of training including pet selection, family dog manners, behavioral issues like aggression and separation anxiety, as well as beginning sports training in obedience, rally, conformation handling, tricks, and agility. I use science-based reward training.

I'm a KPA-CTP(Karen Pryor Certified Training Partner), with over a decades worth of dog experience. My passion is to help people and their dogs have a better relationship.

C + C Dog Adventures is a small dog care business located in the Oakland Hills. Started in 2013, I have been happy to have spent over ten years hiking in the hills with my pack and hosting dogs in my home. When your dog stays with me, they are treated like a member of the family. Your dog will enjoy daily hikes in the Oakland hills off leash for maximum fun and stimulation. I have a safe, enclosed yard for the dogs to enjoy. Force-free and positive reinforcement. Small scale and personal service. I will send you TONS of photos and updates, so you can see that your dog is having a great time! I have a small bulldog mix who has yet to meet a dog she doesn't like. We warmly welcome your pup!
