Let’s face it, Dogs Rule!I love dogs and love working with them. Dogs are pure joy! My goal is to give your dog the safest, most fun walk everyday with me. I strive to accomplish this and it is fun doing so. I am extremely vigilant about your dogs safety and am constantly striving towards educating myself on the best force free training methods in order to establish a loving relationship between myself and your canine companion. I train through gaining trust and build strong relationships with the dogs this way. I am not afraid to use treats and love. These are my tools. This means no shock, prong or choke chains or physical punishment. And lastly, we have sooo much fun!

I started working in the pet care industry after I took in my grandfather's dog, Roxie. I worked in a small local pet shop, Sunset Pet Supply from 2014 - 2016. I learned all about animal nutrition and wellness. Then I moved into a dog walking position 2017 - 2018. I loved the dog walking so much, I decided to move on and start my own business. I wanted to be able to do more work to help the dogs and their pawrents!

Sage Dog Training was born from over a decade of hands-on rescue work and a deep commitment to advocating for dogs in need. After years of fostering and rehabilitating dogs with behavioral challenges, the work evolved into a certified dog training practice. After nearly 30 years teaching high school, I retired to work with animals. I am certified through Animal Behavior College as a Dog Walker, Pet Sitter, and Zookeeper Assistant. I am also a Certified Dog Trainer through Petco. I have two small dogs, a 12-year-old Spitz and a 3-year-old Border Terrier. I’ve been a pet mom for the past 25 years of both dogs and cats. I have also owned fish, mice, hamsters, and a rat. I LOVE animals, and I will care for yours as my own.

Canine Higher Learning offers group training classes at all levels from basic obedience to advanced and competitive dog sports. We also offer dog behavior consulting for a variety of dog behavior problems including dog aggression, leash reactivity, and child/dog relationships.

We are a dog centered training facility. We teach basic life skills to dogs to help create happy families..

I have always loved animals and since I could remember I was wanting to work alongside animals. My first job when I was just 16 was working in an animal clinic. While I learned a lot and had many experiences, it was a little sad that most of these animals were sick. My introduction to walking dogs professionally came from my employment with A Girl and Your Dog.

I have been Providing Dog walks since 2015 and I have been affiliated with dogs (daycare & vet clinics) since 2010. Bay City Paws provides off leash walks around San Francisco parks and boarding services. We work on basic commands and polite manners during our walks.
