Hi everyone! My name is Naomi Roxas I've been a dog walker in San Francisco for the last 5 years. I started out working for a dog walking company the first 4 years and in February of 2019 I decided so start my own dog walking coverage business! With my previous company it was always stressful to ask for time off and I found that to be the case for other business owners as well. As a graduate in Psychology from SF State, I find taking time off for self care to be very important and I feel as though that is something many walkers have not had the opportunity to enjoy. Our mission is to help you enjoy a great relationship with your family dog, by investing in early puppy training & socialization through our Puppy Training Camp program. We also offer loving in-home dog boarding on our 3-acre property centrally located in Placerville, California.

I started working in the pet care industry after I took in my grandfather's dog, Roxie. I worked in a small local pet shop, Sunset Pet Supply from 2014 - 2016. I learned all about animal nutrition and wellness. Then I moved into a dog walking position 2017 - 2018. I loved the dog walking so much, I decided to move on and start my own business. I wanted to be able to do more work to help the dogs and their pawrents!

I was certified as a CPDT-KA and taught basic and intermediate skills in group classes for 17 years. Since the pandemic, I work with dog owners privately. I am a strong believer in the efficacy of positive reinforcement and continuously educate myself to strengthen my understanding of dog behavior. Teaching practicable solutions for impulse control related issues like jumping, excessive barking, leash pulling, etc are just the beginning of helping to create good communication and a strong bond between the dog and their families.
