Specializing in solo R+ walks, on leash (long lead) for dogs experiencing reactivity and animal communication techniques to assist in understanding your dogs behavioral patterns and individual needs. This approach leads to an outcome of people who feel confident and safe navigating the world with their dogs. Walks are enrichment focused allowing them to use their brain and senses to unwind. For my clients who are actively working with an R+ trainer I am in regular contact with that trainer to support you and your dog’s training journey. Hello, I'm Aline from Brazil! I love animals and dogs are my passion. Four years ago I saved a dog that was abandoned on the highway. He was an old golden retriever and he was very sick. He lived with me for almost two years under medical treatment but unfortunately He passed away. I believe Dingo came to my life to teach me what real love is about, and also to make my love for animals grow stronger. I miss taking him for walks 3 or 4 times a day in the quiet neighborhood where I lived in São Paulo. I believe walking dogs is a job that can fulfill me with joy and passion. I'm here to make your dog as happy as I made Dingo!

Kayla Block, MA, CTC, founded Understanding Dog Training to help people and dogs understand each other better. Kayla is a graduate of the prestigious 2-year program at The Academy for Dog Trainers. Her business is focused on fear and aggression and she has a special heart for fearful dogs and leash reactivity.

I started working in the pet care industry after I took in my grandfather's dog, Roxie. I worked in a small local pet shop, Sunset Pet Supply from 2014 - 2016. I learned all about animal nutrition and wellness. Then I moved into a dog walking position 2017 - 2018. I loved the dog walking so much, I decided to move on and start my own business. I wanted to be able to do more work to help the dogs and their pawrents!
