Hi! My family and I open up our home to provide a safe and loving place for your furry family to enjoy while you’re away. We love having new furry friends over and often have other pups visiting throughout the week. I can help with day care, over night boarding, drop in visits, and walking.

SF RUFF RUN focuses on maintaining a pack that has routine and trust! We look for consistent, reliable, long-term pack members, who are eager to have fun/exercise and go on daily adventures with their “second” family:) we offer off-leash pack hikes/walks, as well as daycare. I have had dogs all my life the 22 years I grew up in The Netherlands. When I moved to San Francisco I felt that this was my calling; working as a professional with and for dogs! I have a psychology degree from The Netherlands, and finished the dog walking course before starting my own business. After that I wanted to learn more about dog psychology and training, so I took an intense course at a training academy. Every day I love my job more. The dogs are so happy and their gratitude makes every day a great day. My main goal is having as much fun with my pack as we can so that they can return home well satisfied from great exercise!

I started walktime in 2019 after working for someone else for a year because I knew that working with dogs is what I want to do for the rest of my life. Also I wanted to provide a trustworthy service that’s owner operated to people in a city full of question marks.

With 15 years of experience as accredited positive reinforcement trainers, we provide clients with integrative dog training and behavior modification services. Our mission is to share our knowledge, experience and passion for dogs with our clients so they and their dogs can develop a mutually loving and respectful relationship which contributes to the well-being of both. We prioritize personalized attention to you, your family and your dog by listening carefully to your needs, designing a unique program for you and your dog, and accompanying you throughout the journey.

Hello, I'm Josefina. I can also be reached at @sitdoggy23, where I post my IG and boarding/walking adventures. Prior to dog sitting, my pet care experience includes fostering rescues with Wonder Dog Rescue, Grateful Dogs Rescue and the SF/SPCA shelter. I also have experience as a volunteer dog walker at the SF/SPCA. I have experience working with dogs with a wide range of issues including: seniors, dogs with medical issues, including trauma and abuse/neglect. I have a special love for my work with fostering rescues, as well as walking shelter dogs. It’s an honor to have helped save the lives of many dogs. I currently work from home, have two children and prefer crate-trained dogs.

I started dog sitting after noticing a gap in the market. Daycares juggling numerous clients at can’t possibly cater to each dog’s unique needs. I commit to ONE dog at a time and providing individualized, structured care. Your dog will never be subjected to yelling, yanking, or punishing. I lead with compassion and gentleness - an approach they deserve. I provide care at my residence, offering 24/7 supervision for SA pups, exercise, and frequent photo updates. Currently, I watch dogs ~50lbs and under based on space limitations. Pit bull type dogs/mixes welcome.
