I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Biology from the University of California, Davis, accreditations in low-stress handling, Fear Free, and more. I love to learn and go to training, veterinary, and behavior conferences to stay up to date on the most current information on training methods, anxiety, and aggression. I have been a professional dog trainer in NYC for 15 years. As a child, I participated in dog agility and showmanship through 4-H and won several local and state competitions. I began my path to become a trainer by receiving a certification from the vocational school, Animal Behavioral College. When I began to hit a wall in my self-education four years ago, I enrolled in CUNY's Psychology program, and will be graduating May, 2025 with honors with an interdisciplinary BA in Animal Psychology and Creative Writing. I am currently volunteering as a Research Assistant for the Center for Canine Behavioral Studies, as well as assisting in a lab at Hunter studying Pandas. I am also a PPG member.

I have had dogs all my life the 22 years I grew up in The Netherlands. When I moved to San Francisco I felt that this was my calling; working as a professional with and for dogs! I have a psychology degree from The Netherlands, and finished the dog walking course before starting my own business. After that I wanted to learn more about dog psychology and training, so I took an intense course at a training academy. Every day I love my job more. The dogs are so happy and their gratitude makes every day a great day. My main goal is having as much fun with my pack as we can so that they can return home well satisfied from great exercise!
