The thought of Courts Canines and Cats started in April 2022. in January 2023 I was laid off from my high tech job and decided to finally open up for business. I grew up with cats, dogs, horses, goats, ducks, birds and more! I have 3 dogs and a rescue cat. 2 of our dogs are Cavalier King Charles' and the other is a Lab/Retriever mix. My lab mix is my daughter's service dog. I went through a wonderful 2 week training where I lived up at Canine Companions in Santa Rosa. I lived, breathed and trained all things related to service dogs. I offer boarding, doggie daycare, dog walking and drop ins for fur babies. I give them a happy safe space with lots of love while you are away.

I have been a dog walker, sitter and have boarded dogs for over four years. I have taken care of senior dogs, large breed dogs, puppies and adolescents. I volunteered at an animal shelter where I took many dog handling workshops and am Fear Free certified and first aid CPR certified. I use a positive reinforcement, partnership based, compassionate tuning in approach when walking or otherwise interacting with dogs. I strive to meet the physical and emotional needs of animals through sufficient attention, affection, exercise, and exposure to nature.

Se habla Espanol! We are experienced and fully insured Dog Walkers/Pet Sitters, in business since 2017. We are proud parents to a senior American Pitbull Terrier, a senior Black and Tan Coonhound, two guinea pigs, a Three Toed Box turtle, and lots of fish. We are all animals all the time here, and we wouldn't have it any other way! We provide dog walking and drop in visits from 9:00am until 8:00pm, 7 days per week. We do NOT offer overnight sitting or boarding in our home at this time. We are happy to provide references upon request. We accept payment via credit card, Venmo, Zelle, check, or cash. In 2011, Walkin’ the Dog SF opened for business in San Francisco to provide private walks on leash in clients’ neighborhoods. After many years of tackling hills, my knees have convinced me to change the focus of my business to assist clients who have dogs with separation anxiety. I am available to stay with dogs in their homes when their family members need to go to work, go to medical appointments, and/or take care of everyday responsibilities away from home. I pet sit for some clients on a fixed schedule, but I also have flexible hours.

We are about community. Everyday we strive to make something better in serving our clients and their dogs. Julia, the business owner, is passionate about dogs and their care. This will be our 27th year of serving our San Francisco community. We offer dog walking, off leash adventures. Daycare and dog boarding. Our daycare and boarding is based out of my 2,500 sq ft home, with a large backyard. We love what we do. We use only force free, R+ training methods. All of our staff are employees and we provide health, dental and retirement benefits.

Our mission is to help you enjoy a great relationship with your family dog, by investing in early puppy training & socialization through our Puppy Training Camp program. We also offer loving in-home dog boarding on our 3-acre property centrally located in Placerville, California.

I have been dog sitting & caring for pets for well over 30 years. We started our paid sitting in 2012 when our son wanted to pet sit to raise money for a school trip. I feel like our pets are more like children and are an expansion of our family. They deserve to showered with love, kindness & patience. I was raised in the country where we cared for a myriad of farm animals. I have worked with veterinarians assisting during surgery, medication administration and training. While I am not a paid professional trainer I have trained our last 3 dogs (2 Huskies and a Lab). I love the opportunity to meet new people and fur children and look forward to spending time with them throughout the day.
