Wigwag Club provides safe and fun professional dog walks in Portland's Rose City Park neighborhood. Walks are focused around enrichment for your best friend by encouraging lots of sniffs, teaching new tricks, and reinforcing polite manners both on leash and on the trail.

Specializing in solo R+ walks, on leash (long lead) for dogs experiencing reactivity and animal communication techniques to assist in understanding your dogs behavioral patterns and individual needs. This approach leads to an outcome of people who feel confident and safe navigating the world with their dogs. Walks are enrichment focused allowing them to use their brain and senses to unwind. For my clients who are actively working with an R+ trainer I am in regular contact with that trainer to support you and your dog’s training journey. I have over 20 years experience working with animals, including 5 working in an animal shelter. I have experience with reactive, shy/fearful, and jumpy/mouthy dogs. I am committed to Fear-Free handling and love watching animals getting to be themselves.

Country Road Dog Grooming is a privately owned salon that specializes in positive grooming experiences for your pet. We provide calming environments and techniques to keep your fur baby healthy and happy. Our clientele mainly consists of rescue adoptions with a history of neglect and high anxiety towards grooming. Starting Compassionate Canine is the realization of a lifetime of being in connection with animals. Kelly’s focus when opening Compassionate Canine Training was to utilize positive reinforcement (R+) training to solve the frustrations of families living with challenges of daily distractions. Working with you in your home, yard and neighborhood,, she is able to train your dog in the things most important for YOU. Together, we will cover all the basics of obedience training while focusing on your specific behavioral concerns.

I'd love to help you have a more magical relationship with your dog! My main focus is on puppy raising and separation anxiety, so if those are your concern, I'm here to help! I trained for 4 years at SmartyPup! in San Francisco and now work solely through online coaching*. This is a GREAT way to learn and teach your dog. There are many benefits to online dog training, including fewer distractions early in training, no commute, come in your pajamas, and plenty more! *As much as I would love to, I'm unable to offer in-person training at this time.
