Constant Companion, LLC was born in 2006. It is the culmination of several years of dreaming it, developing it, and seeing it to fruition. I am a lifetime dog guardian and dog lover. I currently share my home with my husband, 5 shelter dogs, 30 chickens, and 3 sheep. I have experience with all creatures great and small. I have a 30 year career in pharmacy, 8 years experience as a veterinary technician, and a lifetime of caring for animals. I've worked with shelter dogs for 12 years and have experience with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I am also a Peaceable Paws Affiliate and will complete my PMCT (Pat Miller Certified Trainer) credential in 2022.

Positive Dog Solutions focus exclusively on behavior challenges. We work with rescues and private clients. We cover all behavior challenges from light and straight forward to severe and complex. We can assist in a legal context with behavior assessments and expert testimony. We provide educational programs for volunteers and staff working in rescue groups and shelters. We offer both in-home and virtual sessions.

Pat Miller is a Certified Canine Behavior Consultant and Certified Professional Dog Trainer. She offers classes, behavior modification services, workshops and academies for trainers at her Peaceable Paws 80-acre training facility in Fairplay, Maryland, and presents seminars worldwide. She has authored “The Power of Positive Dog Training,” “Positive Perspectives,” “Positive Perspectives 2,” “Play With Your Dog,” “Do-Over Dogs,” and “How to Foster Dogs,” and “Beware of the Dog,” and is training editor for The Whole Dog Journal. She shares her home with husband Paul, three dogs, five cats, three horses, four chickens and a pot-bellied pig. All training at Peaceable Paws is force-free.

Hello, I'm Aline from Brazil! I love animals and dogs are my passion. Four years ago I saved a dog that was abandoned on the highway. He was an old golden retriever and he was very sick. He lived with me for almost two years under medical treatment but unfortunately He passed away. I believe Dingo came to my life to teach me what real love is about, and also to make my love for animals grow stronger. I miss taking him for walks 3 or 4 times a day in the quiet neighborhood where I lived in São Paulo. I believe walking dogs is a job that can fulfill me with joy and passion. I have been a professional dog trainer in NYC for 15 years. As a child, I participated in dog agility and showmanship through 4-H and won several local and state competitions. I began my path to become a trainer by receiving a certification from the vocational school, Animal Behavioral College. When I began to hit a wall in my self-education four years ago, I enrolled in CUNY's Psychology program, and will be graduating May, 2025 with honors with an interdisciplinary BA in Animal Psychology and Creative Writing. I am currently volunteering as a Research Assistant for the Center for Canine Behavioral Studies, as well as assisting in a lab at Hunter studying Pandas. I am also a PPG member.
