Hi yall! I've been professionally walking dogs since 2017. After two years of working for another company I took the leap and started my own company in early 2019. I focus on giving dog owners happy, healthy and tired pups! I offer off leash, group hikes all over Redwood Regional Parks and across Oakland.

With over eight years of experience, I provide professional R+ dog training and dog walking services. I specialize in providing and training towards an off-leash group walk that's safe and fun using R+ means and methods. I'm an affiliate of The Muzzle Movement and offer local fitting sessions with their current range of basket sizes. Hello, I'm Josefina. I can also be reached at @sitdoggy23, where I post my IG and boarding/walking adventures. Prior to dog sitting, my pet care experience includes fostering rescues with Wonder Dog Rescue, Grateful Dogs Rescue and the SF/SPCA shelter. I also have experience as a volunteer dog walker at the SF/SPCA. I have experience working with dogs with a wide range of issues including: seniors, dogs with medical issues, including trauma and abuse/neglect. I have a special love for my work with fostering rescues, as well as walking shelter dogs. It’s an honor to have helped save the lives of many dogs. I currently work from home, have two children and prefer crate-trained dogs.

My business started in 2013 in Cole Valley but I also offer my services in the surroundings areas. I have excellent references and I can provide them upon request. My walks consist of small groups (usually three dogs at a time) with different schedules according to what it is requested. We go for a 60-minute walk after each dog is picked up. This gives them time to do their business, exercise and socialize with other dogs.

Founder Barbara Davis, CDBC, CPDT-KA specializes in working directly with families to resolve the most complex dog behavior problems, including aggression, anxiety, fear and others. Our team members are required to attend at least 50 hours each year of continuing education programs to help ensure we bring you the most complete and up-to-date training programs available!
