I provide positive reinforcement dog training in San Francisco, CA., specializing in reactivity, ‘city skills’ & separation anxiety. I love to work with owners and families to determine root causes, mediate breed tendencies with lifestyle, and ensure that training is effective & really sticks.

We are about community. Everyday we strive to make something better in serving our clients and their dogs. Julia, the business owner, is passionate about dogs and their care. This will be our 22nd year of serving our San Francisco community. Our daycare and boarding is based out of my 2,500 sq ft home, with a large backyard. We love what we do. We use only force free, R+ training methods. All of our staff are employees and we provide health, dental and retirement benefits.

My business started in 2013 in Cole Valley but I also offer my services in the surroundings areas. I have excellent references and I can provide them upon request. My walks consist of small groups (usually three dogs at a time) with different schedules according to what it is requested. We go for a 60-minute walk after each dog is picked up. This gives them time to do their business, exercise and socialize with other dogs.

Hi I'm Jenn, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (Knowledge Assessed) with a background in Neurobiology, Physiology, Animal Behavior, and Veterinary Medicine- I was *almost* a doctor. Now I am a PetLife coach, teaching animals and people how to coexist harmoniously at home, in public, and especially at the vet's. When caregivers work together, animals win!

I only board dogs that are enrolled in my daily group walks. I walk dogs of all shapes and sizes even though my profile says I only walk small dogs. I don't know how that happened or how to change it.

I started Rad Rover because I want to help those who want to do better for their dogs who wouldn't otherwise have access to this kind of support. Compassion for people wanting to do better for their dogs is just as important as compassion for our animals. Using trauma informed care strategies that I previously learned and used while working in nonprofit housing, I aim to help educate and build relationships with people about their dogs needs. Unlike a lot of local walkers, we are breed inclusive and understand that people are products of their situations and context. I am a certified professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA, ADB-CCBC, CSAT). My goal as a trainer is to always empower guardians to create strong relationships with their dogs based on clear communication, deep rooted connection and cooperation. I truly believe that this allows the dog to become a more mindful thinker. I use force-free, science-based, positive reinforcement training methods that yield terrific results. I am always expanding my education in the field to bring new, practical techniques to my clients. My hope is that I help create harmonious homes for all dogs and pet parents!
