With statistics showing that approximately 20% of adopted puppies are returned or rehomed due to unmet expectations or unforeseen challenges (ASPCA, 2019), we aim to reduce rehoming rates and curb future behavior issues through comprehensive consultation and early education. By providing one-on-one coaching throughout the first year of a puppy’s life, we equip pet owners with the knowledge and support they need to raise well-adjusted, happy dogs. My name is Stephanie, and I am a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner with 14 years of experience working in the veterinary field. I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Biology from the University of California, Davis, accreditations in low-stress handling, Fear Free, and more. I love to learn and go to training, veterinary, and behavior conferences to stay up to date on the most current information on training methods, anxiety, and aggression. I specialize in helping pets with anxiety and aggression during vet visits, and I love teaching owners how to help their pets gain confidence in previously frightening environments.
