I have been an in-home trainer of dogs and puppies in the Greater Baltimore area for 29 years. I cover all aspects of training including pet selection, family dog manners, behavioral issues like aggression and separation anxiety, as well as beginning sports training in obedience, rally, conformation handling, tricks, and agility. I specialize in small breeds only! I am insured and my home has been inspected to foster by the ASPCA. That being said we provide a loving home environment for your family member. I have cared for many seniors and have extensive experience with special needs dogs. I provide enrichment activities such as snuffle mats, lick mats, frozen healthy treats, a tunnel, and backyard jumps. We are kennel free. I provide boarding and daycare and have about 100 repeat clients! So we have different dogs coming and going daily, although I keep the number of pups at 5. Dogs in my care must be social with other dogs and cannot have separation anxiety or obsessive behaviors.

Hi! I'm Aimee, the dog trainer and owner/operator behind It's a Dog's World SF Dog Training. I started as a group dog walking business in 2007. In 2009, I became a certified dog trainer after graduating with honors from The Academy for Dog Trainers at the SF SPCA, taught by the world-renowned Jean Donaldson. Since then, I have been working and helping dogs and their humans for thousands and thousands and thousands of hours. Hang Around Hound is a multi-use dog care company. We offer boarding and daycare in an all day open play environment, as well as basic grooming. All of our staff are trained in positive reinforcement techniques and dog first aid. I have been in business since 2016 but have been working with dogs professionally in San Francisco since 2010.
